I agree with everyone else, especially this smuggler revamp, we should have a tool, liek a general iem crafting tool or food/chem one to do basic slicing with, not have to spend hours trying to find one use items taht give a 2% slice. I was waiting to see what haappened with smuggling to decide if i should renew my acount and this cinches i won't, SOE does not give 1 damn about any of their customers, they asked the smugglers opinions and now have almost completely ignored them, way to go morons.

Let's not forget Smedley's token visit to the SWG Community. The same community that funded his EQ2, and the purchase of The Matrix Online. His 30 days are long since passed. Tiggs 30 days are long since passed. I know she is merely a mouthpiece, but have some integrity at least. Yeah, they will find someone to replace you, like they did Tyrant, Blackmen, Q and God knows who else. I was honestly hoping for a semi bug free patch, but my BE clothes are still broken, my pets have bugs that the Devs were notified about well before this new artificial deadline and yada yada.

Same as it ever was here. There are things I still love about the game for sure, but it doesn't take someone with the eyes of a hawk to see you are tearing the game down, doing more harm than good with each successive patch. Each combat "Nerf" seems based on one small aspect of the game, PvP.

Ah well.

I agree with what has been so well and politely said by others in this thread.
Since the combat upgrade and ROTW were pushed live before they were ready it seems that all publishes/patches have followed suit.

Mr Smed made a very heartful and sincere sounding post with regards to the CU, and now moths down the line where things are getting worse and not better I am left to wonder, was that post simply a way for SOE to say to the outside world "look we take care of our customers so well, our company head is posting on the forums"

The numerous bugs, gramatical errors and spelling mistakes with quests on Kashyyyk should never have made it through the QA process, whatever "slipped" through that process should have been picked up in the beta.but as the beta wasony 2-3 weeks long it was near impossible for the testers to find these issues.

please SOE, I implore you.do not wasteaway the only game that has managed to hold my attention for as long as SWG has.

This is a very well thought out and constructive post, and I agree 100% with the poster.

I would rather wait 2 or 3 months for new content and profession fixes than to have them pushed out, as they are now, with a lenghty list of "known issues".

Some of the change that the CU brought have really gone a long way to making this game fun and challenging to play again, but the amount of gamebreaking issues that have cropped up is just staggering.

I worked in software qa for almost five years, I understand about deadlines, I understand that some bugs will not be fixed for various reasons, however I do not understand the purpose of the TC if these kind of issues are reported there and ignored. Especially ones that are going to effect users in day to day play (like the chat box issue that has been around since Pub 18).

Please, make the next Publish only game fixes, no new content, no "revamps" of professions, just fixes for the issues that have plauged the game since the CU.

I vote for a two month rollback! I'd gladly give up the last two months of changes for getting the old system back.

I appreciate greatly all of the devs' efforts to fix, balance, create, and tweak continually.

I just do not understand the insistance of SOE to push out patches with increasingly more frustrating bug sets.

Creature Handlers, Tailors, Bio-Engineers, and Smugglers are all in horrid sorts with this patch. Horrid.

I do not have anything more than a cursory grasp of programming, but I do have a grasp of what it means to have a happy customer base. Continually ignoring or breaking entire professions due to pushing out publishes despite KNOWN bugs being left in is frustrating to all and game-breaking for many.

If each patch spends more time on Test Center, that seems quite reasonable. As it is, most people do not bother logging onto Test Center due to feelings of alienation, or just the knowledge that the patch will be live in a week anyway. Why bother if the bugs get pushed live anyway?

If scaling back the plans for each patch to make sure that it comes out without ruining an entire profession is what it takes, I welcome it. I do not want a game which has a 100 page feature list if only four of which work as intended.

I am sorry for seeming ungrateful with everything that the devs, mods, and CSR's do for us every day. That is not my intent. I just am quite sad to see the same problems occur every patch cycle, most of which fall under the heading of: Ignored Known Bugs.

Ever since the CU, *every* patch has been pushed live with *known* bugs. The playerbase knows this because we see the TC bug threads before the publishes go live. Why is this continuing to occur?

/agree - C'mon SOE! I remember when people whined they took too long to come out, but they came out WORKING. Now these are coming out fast, but everything gets screwed more and more.

The night before the Combat Upgrade went Live, Tiggs came into Launchpad Chat and asked for one thing from the players.

30 days.

She said, "Give us 30 days, and everything will be straightened out."

As an Entertainer, I am still unable to heal or buff over 50% of the players who come into a cantina.

As a Squad Leader, my buffs still randomly pick and choose which group members to affect, without rhyme or reason.

As a Creature Handler, this patch just reinforced the fact that Quality Assurance is a thing of the past.

As a player, I have encountered six missing badges (including my Master Pilot badge), almost a dozen broken quests, and an unending supply of broken NPC's and spelling errors.

I understand that it is a common thing to hate one's job; even moreso with the crop of complainers that MMO's draw (if you see my issues as complaints).

But please do not take it out on us.

And please do not say 30 days if you can not do it in 90.
