Thread: Obi Beta Registration

I have completed this and came to a page that says I should have received a completion email and if I hadn't to click here (which takes me to a Form box that shows my email address...i have checked it and it is correct)...I have tried this several times and am not receiving the email. Any suggestions?

I have run into the same problem. I registered around 18 hrs ago, allowing time for lag due to high response, as well as tryed to click resend with multiple e-mail addresses and multiple browsers. Ah, but to no avail.
Please can a CSR respond to this?
Has anyone heard from a CSR on this?
There are a good handful of threads regarding this subject, and no offical response.

same problem but i get my subscriptions so the email acount is good i'm guessing our pcs are trash to them so they dont want us we are fat kids playing dodgeball

I considered this.. however, the message says I should have received my e-mail, and if not to "click here". Then leading to a box to change the e-mail addy if neccesary.
As for my PC... 2gigs of ram, a 256 Radeon Mobility, and a 2.4 P4 ought to be sufficient.

I agree...mine is not even 3 months old...besides it says if you are approved you will receive ANOTHER email later
and i checked my email...it was correct..reinput it and hit OK or whatever...STILL no email

If you did not receive the
email stating that you signed up for the beta successfully you need to click on
the fanclub
link and verify that that email address is correct. If it is not then
update the email and go back to the beta form and click on the link to resend
the confirmation that you signed up.

It's because the script you guys have in place is trunicating the email address. I got it to work by manually pushing the string through my URL bar. |

yup, appears it's email address length. Switched to a shorter address I have at yahoo.com and it went through right away. Originally submitted with my "real" email address through roadrunner a few days ago and nothing ever happened.

Ok, I checked my e-mail and yup, it was old. Changed it and tried to resend and everytime I attempt to I get sent to the registrationg page hereand after I type in my password it sends me to this page for a split second before it sends me right back to the first page. 
all the second page says is: Thank you AdmiralSeer; you are successfully logged in. Click here to continue. I've tried stopping my browser and then clicking on the link but it sends me back to the first page still. Help plz!

My email is correct. I go to sign up for the beta and it just loops me to keep signing in my Station Member user/password, says log in successful then back to the log in screen.... |

On an side note, I changed my email address on the forums AND under my account info (weeks ago), but the system still tried to send it to my previous address (which didn't work). It was just...odd. Also, I noted when I tried to sign up from my travel laptop ( which has a poor old ati video card so is only good for space fighting) I went to a screen after the login then it went back to the login screen again. Tried many times to login ( and my login screen name was on top, showing I was logged in) I came into work and tried and noted that I now saw the screen asking me if I agree to the conditions of the beta test. It seems the site checks your computers setup to see if it will run the beta. So if you are logging in using an old computer , it may not let you sign up for beta. I will need to , when I get home at the end of the week , login from my normal gaming computer to update the computer information sent from my work computer.
so, check to see if you are blocking any active stuff on your web browser that my stop this information from reaching SOE.

I had to try several times to get through the login. I finally had my mouse hovering over the "click here to continue" link after the login page. It tooka while, but I finally clicked on that link before the page refreshed and took me back to the login screen.

Oh yeah...how do we 'reset' the computer options ActiveX acquired? The documentation mentioned that they needed the specs from the computer that we will be playing on, and mentioned that we could change the specs later, but I registered from another computer.

I to registered from another computer, and have no idea how to change those computer spec... cuz the one I use to subscribe is probably not even able to play that game. Anyone can help on this?
