Nice, this answered a question I posted days ago in the same beta registration thread, asking how do update my hardware info. I guess this is the place to ask questions :-P

The problem with sending email should have been fixed, BUT if you have
a period in your email address there will still be issues (example:
[email protected])

no you cannot change it (thats why it ask you to make sure you are on the pc you wish to submit the info for) but it is not a huge factor in beta acceptance. So you should not worry too much about it.

Crud well I hope your system specs have NOTHING to do with registration b/c I was on a cruddy 400mhz 256mb ram comp when I saw the registration & immediately registered b/c of the 'first come, first serve' I was expecting this registration to be about.
I'm sure they would want a wide range of computer types, so I wouldn't worry if I were you.
That would be awesome since I'm sure my workstation is pretty unique compared to the regular gamer pc

Well, I call garbage on the statement that it was fixed...i don't have a period in my email (besides ".com" and the end...which i assume most people have). I tried several more times, re-typed my password...never did get an email confirming that I had submitted. Guess I won't even try for Beta next time

I got into the Beta by attending the Fanfest, if you get an invitation, Let me know, Ill be there too, It'll be fun to test along side an old guildie... Even if he's a glutton for punishment =P

tiggs got a question for you, i attended fan fest but not under this account cause I've cancelled that account for a while if i reactivate that account and register for beta is there a chance i can get in? And does the only over 18s thing count for the fan fest attendees

I think the Beta Invites only go out to those over 18 (Because of the NDA, It's a binding contract, and in order for you to agree to that contract, you have to be of legal age to sign one)

Who knows the magicpassword it takes to get into beta...
I am guessing it must be random, far as I can tell, I never got an invite either lol.

Yeah, i had mine in ther elike 10 minutes after it was posted and confirmed it a few minutes later... still waiting for that email to appear in my inbox.. *prays*. I've moved onto Guildwars and have no intention of renewing my account, but will seriously consider it if the expansions draws my interest enough.

Ok so how come a mulit million (maybe billion) dollar comany cant seem to even get a registration program right? With so many people signing up and not getting the email, it has to be a problem on SOE's end and not ours. How can you guys put out more expansion when you don't even have a working registration process? There is no common sense to this logic.
