there have been numerous discussions, if jedi should be able to feel the danger laying ahead of him. I think they should be...but the time to act has to be small. How about when a teffed jedi gets targetted (by bountyhunter), he gets a system message, you feel a disturbance in the force. The jedi would need to be very quick in his actions but still gets warned by his jedi senses.

I think thats a pretty good Idea, I would just have to wonder if the Devs would be able to impliment such a thing without to much difficulty

Yes, Yes. We have beaten this drum for months and it remains ignored. All they would have to do is adapt the current system from Ranger where they get a system message when an animal is stalking them into a system where Jedi get a warning when a BH who has the Jedi as a mission is withing a certain distance (like 1km).
We'd all love to see some type of immersion and Force information, but it doesn't look to be in the cards. Instead you will have the "explorer adapted" fetch and kill system for Knight Trials and that's as close to being in communication with the Force as this game will take you for now anyway.

Great idea! Unfortunately I believe the jedi tef is a thing of the past. At least according to the TC2 update notes.

Bad idea, here's why:
1.A Bounty Hunter would not cause a disturbance in the force unless he is attuned to it or in other words is at least Force Sensitive. What you are talking about is sensing incoming danger or seeing something before it happens, which yes it does go along with continuity but not with the game. Why wouldn't it be good for the game? Because such a warning is the equivalent of "It is time to log out."
2. So what if Jedi are not allowed to logout after they get the warning, would it be fair then? No, because the fact that the Bounty Hunter is close does not guarantee an encounter, so a Jedi could go for a real long time unable to log out even if he wanted to, which is simply forcing a person to play.

That's very easy to cope with. The code would need to insure the player's link-dead avatar remained in the game and targetable for some small amount of time, say five minutes. I suspect the coincidence of real life emergency situations requiring an immediate logout immediatelyfollowing a warning that an attack by a bounty hunter is immanent will be quite rare.

Have you even seen Starwars? The Force is everywhere it is explained, with miticlorian (sp?) concentration in a player (person really), allows them to feel/sense the force, being able to predict the future, or react to situations.

when Alderaan was destroyed, Obi-Wan felt it. He felt everyone of them die. I doubt eveyone on the entire plantet was attuned to the Force.

I find it disturbing that there has been very little communication on the forums from the Dev's.
No new patches for a while.
No whats on deck.
No TC updates.
Is it just that they are busy getting ready for Fan Fest.
Remember Dev's a little communication goes along way.

There better be some good information coming on the forums from the FanFest attendees. I want them to corner a dev at the bar and buy them drinks until they divulge any and all information you can get from them

There better be SOMETHING, quick... Pub 17 barely began to address the problems. One relatively minor patch (with respect to fixing/balancing the CU) in 5 weeks is not an acceptable rate of progress, im my opinion.
