The team is also putting the finishing touches on Star Wars Galaxies™: Episode III Rage of the Wookies™,

Hmm they say they listen, yet they dont show it.
How many people would be happy with two changes:
1) Option to use old icons
2) Option to use a combat queue (call it an Action Monitor, or whatever)
Meet us part of the way.
3) Removing of fairy tale effects
4) Removal of "name" Combat Upgrade and changed to "Combat Emulation"
Because what we are offered is not a system that is invented from scratch.. Knowledge Database already tells the truth showing EQ results.. Basically changing a unique system instead of making it "example" for future games, to "turning it to same system as rest of games".

Fact is they really dont have to listen to any of us. They could very well turn the entire thing into a stick figure FPS that shoot mickey mouse heads at each other. Its their game, their call. Its pretty obvious since they totally ignore our concerns and even our correspondents concerns. There is an agenda and its set up by people who dont play SWG. Thats for sure.
And, also consider that they know that we can all leave and we will be replaced by others who will play for a few months til they get bored. Its not the quality of the game.. its how long you play it and how many dollars you send em. There will always be more players.
I just wonder how far they can really push a 2+ year old game engine anyway? Cant be for much longer...

In Austin, our Star Wars Galaxies™ team is focused on a big change to the game's combat system. The "Combat Upgrade" is now live on the SWG test server, and it's getting very positive feedback from the SWG playerbase. The team is also putting the finishing touches on Star Wars Galaxies™: Episode III Rage of the Wookies™, which launches in less than a month. The SWG playerbase is very strong, and we're continuing to put a lot of effort into making Star Wars Galaxies™ even better and adding new content all the time. The latest expansion pack adds Episode III content into the universe -- something our SWG players were asking for!

WHEN? We are set AFTER ep 3. You must be confusing Revenge of the Sith with Return of the Jedi or something. Maybe, Im to much in favor of old school SW...but the prequels dont qualify SW content.

Truthfully though it would have been madness for LA and SOE not to release something episode 3 related,
