When I look at the forums while not logged in everything looks fine. When I log in all the formatting is removed from all the posts so that almost every post looks like one huge paragraph. I have tried changing skins, but it didnt do anything. Is there anything else I can try, or reset, to get it to work right?
Edit: This happens in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.Message Edited by Vorpaks on 05-03-2005 12:31 PM
I'm pretty sure I had this same problem Vorpaks. Under "My Profile" in the "Preferences" tab there is a checkbox "Ignore HTML" it's the third checkbox on the page. Uncheck it and press "Save Changes". I don't know how in the world this ever got checked for me but it was and unchecking it fixed the problem.

Hi Garva,
I am unable to change my verified email address on the forums. There is no function available for me to do so, and I have looked on every tab under "My Profile".

How long until the stay-logged-in bug will be fixed? It's annoying to have to login every time.
Also, why does the search no longer work?

When we log in, the URL that it tries to take us to is incorrect and has an extra /SWG in there.
Look:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/SWG/?sessionServerID=xxxxxxxxxx
I replaced the number at the end with x's, but just look... the capitalized SWG does not belong in there. Please inform Lithium or whoever because it doesn't log me in automtically anymore and every time I log in I get an invalid URL message because of the error above.

After several attempts to change my sig and getting the "you do not have permission to use simple HTML" message -- I scoured my HTML looking for "illegal" code and found several SPAN and /SPAN inserted in there! I didn't put them there!
I suppose they slipped in somehow when I copied my previous sig from an old post, then went into a Reply window to change it before going to my Profile page to save it. After removing the SPAN tagsI was able to save my new sig with no more errors.

Just in case you missed that!
I am still not seeing any foramatting in posts when I am logged in. When I quote I can see the html with the hr and blockquotes and links and colors and line breaks, but when I am looking at the posts themselves it is all plaintext and all runs together.
The patch notes this morning were particularly hard to read!
Also whenever I post it takes me immediately to a "page cannot be displayed: page. The only work around is to copy my post before hitting submit. When the "page cannot be displayed" page comes up I hit refresh and it refreshes as the page I was just typing in. If I paste my post in and hit submit again a second time it posts correctly.

When I use my favorite, it links right to http://forums.station.sony.com/swg, when its a fresh browser that hasn't logged in to the forums I have to login, if I have been browsing around and go back the forums I often don't have to login.
I just made http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/?sessionServerID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx a favorite and after a few triesI haven't had to relogin yet.

Well, since the submit button does not work in Opera 8, here we go again after digging up and dusting off IE:
Aside from the obvious problem that a non functional submit button is not really helpful, one other thing is driving me nuts: The original post of the threads is not displayed in Opera 8. It's been mentioned before but there was no feedback on this subject so I thought I'd bring it up once more. One can only see the replies to a post but not the original post so I never know what the thread actually is about. That's pretty annoying... is there a way to fix this? At least a workaround? Please? Pretty please? With strawberries?

If you set Opera 8 to identify as Mozilla everything will work. I've submitted a few bugs with screenshots; hopefully they'll fix it despite not officially supporting Opera. ::crosses fingers::

Save Password on login isn't saved, so repeated login is required.
