Don't like it. I want the old forum layout back.Now.
Trying something is fine, but giving no option to return it to a normal forum layout is just retarded. I still use the original theme for the forums because thenew ones are dumb.

having used it for the whole weekend now i still don´t see the advantage of it. I use verbose mode so i have the forums on the left and all the other new portal stuff on the right. In the upper right corner i have the Announement box, while the latest announcement is about the Bria Server update, in the box it still says Jedi Deaths on POB ships, is that intended or still buggy? Next box is My Quick stats, what should i do with that, totally useless info.
Then Quick links, looks like the same links i have on top of the forums already, again useless since i havethem already. Notes box, don´t need it, have 5 messages in it that i´ve already read, don´t need to see them every day again. Users online, like i care who is online, totally useless info. Might be somewhat usefull if you could set it so only ppl from your server appear in that list, otherwise i don´t care who is online from other servers.

basic layout is not bad, but I miss the latest thread link.
Also, There appears to be no order at all to the sub-boards in their sections. So, if you're trying to find the 'Armorsmith' forum, you need to search for it, instead of looking at the A's.
Bookmarks should be at the top, in my opinion - bookmarks are meant so that you can quickly browse somewhere. Needing to scroll to the bottom doesn't help this.
An option to reorder and/or hide the boards as we see fit would be good.
In general though, I think I prefered the original design

In general...I don't like it.
There are a couple things I do like....But by all that is holy, give us the option to view it the old way if possible.
I've played with the settings, and I just can't get myself to like it.

More Unreadable Text; the expandable "Help" options in Preferences in your Profile.
Not much help when you have to copy it out of the browser and paste it in a text program just to see what it says.

Please restore the alphabetical board sorting (for example, under Professions). You used the SWG Inventory sorting algorithm, didn't you! *tease*
Also, if you could add an option for searching to return 100 hits sorted by descending date, that would be awesome. That's what everyone wants to do anyway, and it's really frustrating to hit several "too many searches in progress" messages while trying to get there.
