Thread: New Portal Experiment... please read and give feedback.

Since removing the star rating system I have noticed a parody here...
Think of forums posters as a whole bunch of people who have templated master lightsabers with bounty hunter... (and yes it is possible). Posting messages is grinding your template to become an uber 1337 Jedi/BH...
Up until now we were in the pre-patch 9 system with TEFs. Basically your posts had to be vaguely sensical or you got 1starred, thereby causing you to loose some xps and put you back in your grind...
Since the removal of the TEF/star system, people are now free to grind their post counts with immunity! We now have these FS Forum Posters running riot and levelling up like there's no tomorrow!!!
So.. I propose that we need some kind of forum visibility system:
* Every time a post some makes is read by another user that contains 1337 speak, they gain a little more visibility.
* Once it gets to a certain point a price is put on their head.
* Other posters can take out this bounty.
* To complete the bounty they have to post a witty retort WITHIN 30secs to any one of this hunted posters messages.
* Upon completion of the bounty the mark's last 50 posts are removed and the hunters post count goes up by 10.
I know this is harsh and would remove any sense or sanity in these forums, encourage griefing, post ganking etc. But I think it would be fun
Anyways... I'm off to grind on this broken message spawn I heard about in 0,0 on the Jedi forums. Please add comments/additions and /sign here if you want a free post increment

I know we all have to adjust to something new.
But for lazy plp like me 
It's too chaotic :/
It's too chaotic :/It ismaybe efficient to cramp more options on the mainpage, but yur totally
screwing up the beautiful and very readable layout it once had.
I dunno if it's possible to let plp have the option to turn on and off this new layout.

I like the new portal, although I would like to see a clickable title of the newest thread/thread last replied to for each board like it was with the old portal. With that addition, the new portal would be near perfect.
It would be even better to let us customize the portal completely.

If I change the setting, I can deal with it. All in all, I'm not sure why this is something that is getting changed. The old layout is just fine and if we are being given the option to change how it all looks, please offer an "old style" option for the 99% of us who where just fine with the old layout.

I kind of like it but I would rather prefer the previous layout, in which you could see the title of the last post. I would like to see it in the new layout if it's possible

How the HECK I change the forum to the old fashion way??
I cant find a option "Use new forum layout" or "Use the old forum layout" plz, any1 help me find how to change to the old layout!

At first, it was kinda awkward. Maybe cause its different. As of today, I'm exploring it and seeing some potential. So while the jury is still out, my opinion of today is that it may be nice!
