  1. What makes you think I'm not? And its not family money, its earned.
  2. I always note the number of posts, and when I see a low number I assume:
    1. Someone is speaking without context of the subject's history of performance, basically in ignorance, or
    2. It's a closet SOE rep's account, because only an SOE rep can brown-nose SOE with a bunch of unfounded, vapid, or otherwise lacking substance defensive statements.

So you make assumptions based on a post count? A post count means jack, I have a low post count because I can't be bothered to get in on the flaming juvinile behavior of the boards...but I read a lot and I know plenty of what's going on.

Bottom line, never make assumptions based on idiotic criteria like a post count.

What little they are given $15 x 200,000 subscribers = a **edit** load of cash. Give me a break mate this kind of down time is unacceptable.

But I don't think thats why people are complaining. It's the lack of info that we are mad about. Just saying the servers will be up soon is not comunication.

- having a dedicated internet pipeline hooked up in order to run a MMO (500k+ a year)
- Building Payments
- Server maitiance (still cost money even when something wrong happens to prevent wrong things from happening to every server)
- Salary for 30+ employees
- Lucus Arts Cut (like 25%+ here)
- SOE big shots cut
- many more things

They do not get 15*200,000 a month just into there budget ya know...

If you would give us a schedule of the un-planned maintenance times, it would make life so much easier on us.

What little they are given? Yeah 3 million bucks a month is so little that they can't even guarantee a backup plan for their servers in case something like this happends.

And ifthe problem is outside SOE's hands why don't they tell us that, i'm so sick of hearing the words "No ETA, we apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience".

Let's just see what mess it is when we finally can log back in and see the damage done to our accounts.

Tiggs I respect you 100%. But, call it what it is. I don't care what your office anacronyms or office jargon is...Its "Unplanned Maintenance". Full stop. I think Maintenance is stretching it a bit as well. More like - Server Replacement or complete and utter wiping and start again or we needed to send some one to europe to fix it! type of thing.

And another thing.

You cannot tell me that 3 servers are down for over 24 hours with no information being provided to your team.

If that is the case you should be banging on the CEO's door saying our company is crap!!!

Andanother thing!

If you can't get hold of the appropriate person to authorise the purchase of what ever you need to fix it! Make the decision your self. they wont sack you for deciding to fix something that is likley to ensure the quality name of SOE and Lucas Arts. Jees i'm sure George him self would stump up the money.

Och im ranting but its down to lack of info. Sorry tiggs.

I beleive, right now TIggs Would love to wave a magic wand and make the servers run again. We cannot accecpt terms like down for maintenance. This implies a measure of planning which is sadly lacking. Keep up the pressure though.

Please, could we all act like adults. Let these people fix what is wrong. I am sure you will live without playing a video game for a day. Personally, I left early this morning and went to my favorite trout stream and caught some dinner for tonight. Get UP, Get OUT, and Get a HOBBY other than doing something unconstructive like sitting on the phone all day complaining about a GAME.
