OMG that sounds exactly like the thread I started here, I tried to update my sig and I got that message.
I messed around with my sig alot, and I got it figured out. I still don't know exactly what I did but whatever the heck I did, it fixed the issue the forums were having with my sig.
I THINK, I think it might be because you may be mixing HTML or something together...maybe, its worth a try.
For example: a rough example
<FONT><STRONG>________</FONT></STRONG> <--is what I might of had
<FONT><STRONG>________</STRONG></STRONG> <---I think the forums wanted.
I think it might work like that, it wants HTML closed and not crossed... I don't understand it, even if above is the problem.
GarVa confirmation would be nice...
Thanks for the info!

I'm getting an error saving my signature because the statment "Style =" is not allowed. Not matter how i save my signature...even from RTF to filtered HTML....Style statements have to be there. Anyone know what Lithium wants instead?
manually remove the "style =" from all your html. It should work.
Style sheets are disallowed
If I delete "style equals" (note: you can't even type the expression here) then nothing shows up for the signature. Can someone post an example of their signature, with different fonts and colors, lines and spacing so that I can see what actually works?
mine updated just fine...
you cant have style or tables (and im sure a mix of other tags)
start with something simple and see what's possible
