Thread: Registration Confirmation Email Broken?

The first night the beta test for the Trials of Obi-Wan opened, I signed up. I got a confirmation application in my Email with no problems.
This morning I tried signing up on a different account (with a different Email address), but did not get a confirmation Email. I tried again where it says to click if you didn't get an Email. It resent another, or soI assume,but I still didn't get it.
So just now I tried with this account, the one I had gotten an Email to before, and I got no confirmation Email this time.

When the testing application opened, like I said, a got a confirmation Email just fine. But now I'm not getting any confirmation Email with the same account and same Email address. I've changed nothing on that Email address either... I haven't changed the spam settings or anything.

So I'm just wondering if perhaps the registration confirmation Email system is broke or something? Just want to make sure this wont screw up my chance of getting invited (if I ever do) into the beta test. If I'm not getting a confirmation Email now, who knows if I do get invited, if I'll recieve the Email or not...

Also I attended the Celebration III in Indy but have yet to receive the beta key code altho


I registered for the beta and got the confirmation last week. IGN Meano Darkstar, Radiant


BTW - you were missed but glad you're back and /deepbow for your volunteering in the Gulf

hope you feel tons better.

Myself and several others attended Fan Fest and still have NOT recieved accress via email with an Account Key. Can we find out what the status on this is?




I just hit a bunch of buttons and hope everything works out.

This also happened to me, last night while registering an alt account. The following will resolve the issue...


Go to the fan club page and make sure you have the option checked to "Check here to elect to receive the Star Wars Community Newsletter" (don't forget to hit "submit" afterwards to save the changes). If you don't have this selected it seems that you won't receive the confirmation email for the ToO beta testing.


If you've already signed up, then after you make the above changes to your profile you can go back to the beta sign up page and use the option to have them resend the confirmation email to you (which you should receive this time).


I don't know if this applies to the acceptance emails as well (since I haven't received one yet), but it's better to be safe rather than sorry.



PS. Make sure you also turn off or tone down your email filters so that the confirmation/acceptance email doesn't get "gobbled up" accidentally...
