You can post suggestions and ideas in any forum as long as the suggestion or idea is on topic for that board. If you can't find a board that fits your topic, you can post in the "Core Systems" board under Professions.

But would'nt a centralized place that this information could be placed and discussed be a better idea. If it is just on any random Bd, what are the chances that the poweres that be would ever get to see it? I know that many discussions have happened on my server forum and the GCW forum. But who really sees them to be honest.

You can post suggestions and ideas in any forum as long as the suggestion or idea is on topic for that board. If you can't find a board that fits your topic, you can post in the "Core Systems" board under Professions.

Actually a centralized place makes it harder to find. For example, let's say a developer is looking for ideas about Creature Handlers. If we had a general suggestions board, he'd have to wade through hundreds of posts to find any Creature Handler ideas. Whereas with the current system, he can just go to the Creature Handler board and read threads that are all about Creature Handlers.

Wasn't Core Systems broken up into several boards, and moved from professions? Or is that a future plan?

True, but if you have one board for suggestions, people might get the feeling that it's usefull.In the (for example) Creature Handlers forum there are perhaps 50 posts a day with perhaps 5 containing suggestions. Most people got the feeling that these 5 posts aren't read, because they sure aren't answered to byDEV. And don't mention "profession representative" because, with all due respect, that's not the same as a DEV.

If you have a suggestion that doesn't fit on a specific board, feel free to post it in Core Systems.

We left the Core Systems board open. We'll continue to read posts in it and if we see a certain topic being posted a lot on that forum we'll consider creating a new board for it.
