Ok ide like to start off with stating i am going for commando. i heard its very enjoyable.
Lets get started i rember playing at the beginning of launch and how all the commandos sucked blah blah blah... i rember wanting to be a commando and thinking it could only get better from here. I then had to log off for 4 month period to start my education again and know im back and you guys frekn rock. so what your dot doesnt do 1000 dmg a second anymore and so what you cant hit for over 5000 in pvp your just being matched with the other characters just enjoy the game if you dont like it do another class, if that doesnt help stop playing.I am APPAULED that you are taking this out on a poor corrospondent that has done nothing but help you guys from day one. You should just be happy that hes done that much, and maybe stop to think that your not the one class in SWG that needs the most work. There are atleast 4 proffesions i can think of right now that need atleast 10x more work than yours.
Stop whinning just play.

Combat wise, commando needs the most work out of any proffesion ( dont include crafters n such b/c they arent part of combat revamp ) , gtfo if you think otherwise... you say you know 4 proffesions that need more work than commando, but you leave off without naming one.

First off...Welcome to the Commando way of life...
Your first Commando lesson will be to bookmark your post....I'm serious...bookmark this post...then when you hit Master Commando, just play the game for a week or two in the non-grinding way of life...Then come back and revisit your post and see if you still feel the same way...just like 99.9% of all of the other future Commandos who've once said the same thing as you, they've all changed their tune...so will you...
And, for the most part, most of us don't blame our Correspondent for our current state...but let's review what a Correspondent's purpose is...They are the direct channel to the Dev's...anytime we try and contact them we are told "speak through your Correspondent"...and unforunately LordS hasn't been around long enough to really display that he's made a difference for our profession (this isn't his fault)...One of2 things will mostly likely happen...LordS, our Correspondent, will side with us and fight for our changes OR LordS will side with the Dev's and let things just happen to us with no arguements...Which would you prefer to see...And we all know that, just becuase LordS fights for something, this doesn't mean the Dev's will listen...We lost 2 Correspondents prior to LordS because the Dev's didn't listen to us (did you know that?)
You really need to review what LordS has done so far...In the big scope of things, it really isn't much...he's mainly compiled 1 or 2 States of the Profession, wrote our Top5 and put together a Top10...everything else has been mainly feedback gathering...But this isn't meant to mean that LordS is a bad Correspondent...he hasn't done much because he hasn't been around long enough...He will have his chance as he now starts to fight to see our Top 5 and 10 Questions responded too...
It's a plain fact we have 3 broken trees and one useful Weapon...We are a ranged profession with Melee Specials...And we have more restrictions working against us then any other profession...We also have less melee defenses then any of the Elite Range Professions...We have plenty to complain about...and we are justified in doing so...This doesn't mean that we don't enjoy our Profession or that we are just Whining...it means that we take so much pride in our Commando Profession that we want to see it reach it's true potential....plain and simple...
So...nowfor yoursecond lesson...Go to the new Geon Bio Lab on Yavin...Use any and all of your Commando Skills in that cave...see how well they work when compared to the other professions fighting around you....it's the best place to compare...As a commando I've never felt more broken then I did in that place...thank the Commando Gods that I had TKM to fall back on or it would have been a wasted visit...

Im sorry Cupas but you really have no idea how much work we need until you have at least been a master for a week or two. Please dont preach what you dont know. Re-post later on like Garvin said.

we rock? really? sure, in pve, we do very well, but pvp is another ball game.

you whine too much...it took me 2 days to get flamethrower 4...wow that took a long time now didnt it...id say 2500 PvP damage isnt bad with flame single 2. It doesnt take long at all...now go take some rebel general camp missions and pwn the rebel scourge!
