Thread: how to kill a commando?
I've been killed several times by flamethrowers - now im not here shouting nerf im just asking the best way to defend against a commando, from a BH's point of view. I'm sure there is a weakness somewhere and maybe if ppl who cry nerf all day would try to find that then the bat would stay away

as a bh you should win 99% of your fights against a commando ...
im a novice BH - with a lightning cannon I spend most my time missing
ive heard certasin types of armor or helmets can be effective?
you should not try to fight a heavy weapon specialist (commando) with a heavy weapon ..
use your pistol ...
as sad as it is to say use eye shot .. and we are dead ..
if you are only novice no skill yet and you loose to a high end commando (master or grenadeer) ..... comon you are "ment" to loose then

armor reduced damage by 50% to ap0 weapons (flamethrower)
not if u use armor with 30% heat resistance
wow then from our great 1k dam we can do (with high delay between attacks arround 10sec) is not much left
as sayed if you fight a commando use armor !!
Personally speaking from me, a commando who PvP alot stay away from us as best as you can. That is best defense against us. Dont rush in at us that is just sucidial and use your head and not your trigger, you will then fare pretty good .
stay near water...it'swidely known that if you get set on fire, you can run into the water to put it out...
That's why I throw in a quick healthshot2 using the Launcher Pistol (good bleed), then go with the flame...occasionally use a macro for healthshot2 (comes with novice pistoleer), healthshot1and bodyshot2...it sets me up better for a quicker kill...and if the flame does almost enough damage to kill them before they get it out, I switch back to the Launcher Pistol (sliced for speed) and finish them off faster and with better accuracy then I could with the flame.
