I more then want too...I'm dying to talk about what I know...and it really sucks that I can't...I actually excited for the Combat Revamp and I feel I finally have something I'm willing to wait for...I know many of you would feel the same if only you could learn what I've learned...Sure, there will always be the skeptics who won't believe anything until they actually see it live, but that is understandable...
Everyday that goes by and the Docs aren't posted I come closer to cracking...lol...I know a lot of the other Correspondents feel 100% the same way...We all want to discuss it...Many of us are dropping lots of hints, and many of you clever folks are putting the pieces together very impressively...

Ok...ready for another hint (ask the right questions I'll try and provide some good hints)...Our skill sets, including the ones we get before becoming Commando will be further enhanced within the Commando profession...And, as hinted before, thereis more then oneroute to improve your Commando skill sets outside of the Commando profession...
Ok...that sounds confusing, but if you've been following the hints and the speculation closely, it should make some sense...

I'll throw insome info based on afew past hints that I've posted and seen posted in other forums...

5) We gain more Hvy weapon speed and accuracy than if the currently FT and HAR accuracy and speed simply turned into normal Hvy weapon speed and accuracy?
Yes...and we have ways of increasing our speed and accuracy outside of our profession...
6) Master Box don't gain any new skills or improved speed, accuracy, defense, etc?
I never said that either...The Sandbox will ultimately determine what the Master Box gets....BUT...as mentioned in a hint...A Master Commando will be better then even a 0044 Commando when it comes to our primary weapons...
7) Other professions don't get skill box that help our heavy weapon attack, accuracy, defense?
Yes and no...can't really be more specific then that at this point...Other combat profession, ALL OF THEM, will compliment us just like we will compliment them...We will all compliment each other...
8) Grenades stay the same and/or gets worse?
At first yes...but I've heard of some things that may have been slipped into the Revamp regarding grenades...
9) We don't gain skill bonus to work with LP?
I never said that...again...think beyond being a 169 pt Commando...think of being a 250 pt Commando...that's a prime key of the Revamp...
10) We don't gain close range melee defense that's equivalent to unarmed toughness?
Toughness...hmmm...hypothetically, it sure would be nice to have some sort of Toughness of our own wouldn't it...
Remember...nothing is set in stone and even the Docs I've seen are subject to change...the Devs had in there lots of things that are definitely coming...but they also had in there things that look VERY COOL on paper but makes the programmers go "How the heck do I make that work"...
That's one of the reasons for the Secrecy I think...they don't want to get peoples hopes up, especially if I come in here telling you all of the cool things that are coming, and then have to deal with the aftermath if some of those things get nixed...
Over all the Combat Revamp, in my mind and the mind of many other Correspondents, does what it is intended...it Balances us all and makes all Combat Professions useful...A group containing each Profession will be better suited for what may come...it does away with "The Template" that everyone sets up for certain circumstances like PvP or PvE....Every profession will have options to deal in PvP or PvE...it's all in how wisely you spend your skill points based on how you like to play...Template building will move away from "Stacking" and more towards strategy and tactics...
Anyway...that's all I really should be saying at this point (probably already said to much)...My main goal of supplying these hits is to keep up the positive feelings of the Revamp...To let you know that good times are coming, and in the end, the wait will be worth it...And I do agree...the wait will be a lot easier when you know what you are waiting for...it's waiting for info that hurts the most...

First the powers that be will have to decide what their vision of the roles should be.

Could be absolutely anything either we have no clue ATM or we have too many and how the heck do we code it![]()

Heavy damage attacks usually mean less defence in most games other wise whats gonna happen to the fencers?

We do complement each other right now if we think about it its just people like to solo things. I get calls from guildees going Krayting and on the vette for help.

Great I love nades even though some of my guildees think I a mad lobbing protons about.

250pt commando hmm well i hope they do balance it considering that most Elite profs can outdamage me and they only have a 4 box pre-req and I have 5 times that ATM.
