Thunderhearts post today about the CU:

Basically....Dont look for the CU until May. Or later.
Personally, I am not quite sure what to make of this. I am so shell shocked by this I honestly dont know what to say. I am honestly, speechless.

Uh ho...after seeing those images on ign.com, I now got a feeling it is definately a "Rage of the Wookiees"
Well..guess the hopes of Hoth are dashed...
Lets hope the driveable vechs and other long-time development stuff isnt either. Tho I see some of the new goggles on a trando...so at least thats a plus. Although I wish we had a real kashyyk that is mostly in the trees...the SWG version most likely will focus mainly around the coastal areas it seems like...

I duno,I like the IGE relise.
Means the CU should theoreticaly be ready for the public by may, only 2 months away.
Id say thats good news.
Not only will we be getting the CU but a new Expansion that same month. Hazzahs are in order IMO!
Deep space miningand a new planet coming out the same month as new weapons, usablefaction armor, commando usefullness and general goodness? GUNNA BE AN AWSOME MONTH!!
Also means alpha and beta testing should be starting rather soon! If the relese is may than the beta and alpha HAVE to start pritty soon.
PS - I CALLED IT!!! CU AND NEW EXPANSION COMMING OUT WITH EPISODE III

Aye, at least 6 weeks from Alpha to end of Beta, at LEAST. The JTL beta was approximately a month long I believe, the sandbox will be 2 weeks...
And Id say they would prolly want this out around May 18th...the expansion pack at least. Thats 72 days away. The 6 weeks at least of testing will take up 42, that leaves a window of 30 days.

Just looked at all the pics.
THERES A COMMANDO WOOKI IN THERE!!!
That means that commados will definatly be a usefull proffesion

I'd imagine that would be part of their big media push just before release.

I wonder sometimes if the devs ever intended this game to be set in the Original Trilogy or the Prequels.

SW timeframe / continuityhas been thrown out the window for a looooooooooooooooong time....
