Folks, am I reading thi sright? Is this saying that the CU is going live this week (and not in May)

Anyone else think it is not ready?

Holy cow.

So much for even bothering to improve what's not working yet. (AoE, DoT)

So much for avoiding the respec-regrind. (tough luck Master Marksman professions)

So much for getting the item conversion right. (has the latest "tweak" even been tried on a galaxy conversion?)

There will be a total complete meltdown on the forums.

StarNick, could I please get a "yes, you are reading this right", or a "no, you are just a monkey on crack". I know this is probably blind siding everyone, I just want some conformation on what I am seeing is really what I think it is. Thanks!

I'm prety sure you're right. And thus, the devs have once again driven the fact that they suck into our heads. So, when's the Commando Revamp scheduled for, Starnick? We're gonna need one. A MAJOR one.

Well, we were warned there was going to be major downtime for server maintaince (for the CU). However, I gotta admit...the tone of that announcement sounded like the CU is coming out in a few days...

I doubt thats what Tiggs is saying, as theres still a whole lot of tweaks that (and fixes) that need to be added...for example, PvP is pretty balanced right now but PvE is really unbalanced. Given (from Blix) that it takes 1-5 days to get new changes out...its to me, unlikely its being released before May 5th however. The forums they'll be having up is in order to update you folks, as well hold CU-related discussion threads, that part I know.

I recently got on, so lemme look around the boards a bit more and Ill see what I can dig up...for now, hold onto your flamers.

Thanks Nick. Rereading Tiggs post, it might be possible this is just the hardware going in.

Oh sweet sassy mollassy, that better not be true, I've still gotta drop entertainer and medic and grind out some elite skills if I ever have a hope of reallocating to a decent level, of course thats just me I'm sure everyone else is totally content with the CU and are ready for it to be here! lol

Yeah, the corrs are up in arms about it. Tigg's post was exceedingly vague, and on one hand it looks like hardware (basically putting the system in but not switching it on), but the other...looks like the CU. Still unsure at this point, but whatever information I can get you guys will get notified if I can.

Not 100% definite, but prepare for the worst...I don't have a good feeling about this. Whatever happens, we'll ride it out together.
