i'm looking for the best type of armor to get for pvp

also i'm a trandoshen what is the recommended stat migration for commando

Depends what your gona be fighting...

Since you said PvP then I would go with Composit as the best, ubese works good for me though, and I am a Trandosian as well. Much cheaper too

well in pvp you need good protection against the most commonly used dmged types, so that would be:

Heat - FWG, Flamethrowers

Acid - Acid Pistol (forgot name) Acid Carbine (also forgot name) Scatter Pistol (lotsa ppl have this one)

Energy - lots and lots of guns use this dmg

Kinetic - if melee does get up to you it can hurt, and most melee types use kenetic dmg

so find an armor that has good protection against all of these and your set (i think composite is the only one)

does the encumbrance lower my stats or make me run slower?

It will lower you stats like strength, constitution, etc. Composite works very well aginst a flamethrower my only concern is the low electricity defense on it. Oh and if you find padded or something that is better then the composite you find buy it instead.

PvP - Composite + make friends with a master doctor and have him buff you - You'll have near god status for over 2 hours or until you die ( just don't take too much mind damage or you're screwed)

Composite protects against everything except stun unless the maker makes it differently. It is common on vaclyn though to make electricity the special resist (ie the low one) in exchance for raising the other resists, but now that the llc is viable, i think that will change.

I wouldnt worry too much about encumberances except when you are healing yourself since flame thrower specials caost next to nothing to use. Well at least thats what I experiance
