I am not trashing Seckmoth....I merely said he wasnt getting the job done, for whatever reason. If you dont agree, then dont /sign....Pretty simple, really
While I take it as an extreme compliment that you believe in me I don't feel this is the best route...We are just at the front door of hard times...it will get tougher and I know LordS will do everything he can to make sure our best interests are heard.
LordS is not doing a bad job. He was selected as our Correspondent because of his knowledge of our profession and the fact that he has been playing since Beta. While I don't always agree with some of the things that LordS posts or the decissions he makes, I don't for a minute think he should be removed from his position and replaced.
LordS has been very good at defining our issues and presenting them to the Devs. Remember, there is a whole forum we don't get to see in which the Correspondents have a direct pipeline to the Dev's. Yes, LordS tends to take his role in more of a Diplomatic style then I might, but he is working very hard. His State of the Professions and timely responses to our requests are very professional.
Even though I am not the correspondent I will still make my feelings heard and keep standing up for our profession...I don't need to be the Correspondent to do that...
So just know this...I believe in LordS...so if you believe in me, also put your faith behind him...If LordS ever decides to he no longer wants to be our Correspondent I mightconsider a run at the position, but I will not take the position if LordS is "pushed" out.
Again, thank you for the support, but right now we have to stand tall as a profession and that means supporting LordS as our official voice.
if you havent realized by now, the entire correspondent program is a joke and a sham. dig back old posts by mastersynn and see just how much attention they paid to him.. or to ivoni.. or to any of those who post here regularly.
by its actions, SOE has already proven they dont take any feedback from correspondents into account. After all, im SURE the commando correspondent and community were ecstatic about the 2.5x melee penalty of a while back, or that we are now, as im sure they will be falsely claiming on certain interviews with gaming mags, 'happy about all the changes and of the current state of the commando'. our jedi brothers are also behind us 100%.
in short, dont bother. the correspondents are like poor ol' kofi annan. he's the spokegoatsperson nobody pays attention to but he does get a nice flashy title.

i think you need to remember that lordseckmoth has a difficult time getting nething heard. if you talk at a brick wall....does it hear you or talk back, nope. if you talk in the middle of a desert, can you be heard? nope. in short, LordS is in the middle of a desert talking at a wall. so hes really got it hard. dont slate the guy, hes trying his best. but if lordS gets sick and tired of trying and failing, and quits, 1. i couldnt blame him, 2. THEN lets start a new nomination thread. now is the time to work together to be HEARD. not be seen to be a bunch of idiots. Hell, everyone blames us for being arrogant and over powered, lets not show them we cant even tolerate our own.
