Thread: Wow, all the forums are really dead.

I have been noticing this as it has become progressively less active. I don't even need to venture a guess as to why no one is posting, and I don't even need to voice it. Consider this a "Keep the forum alive post". How's everbody liking JTL?

Yea, I dont see a whole lot of activity these days either...I was gone for 12 days on vacation and came back yesterday...and I didn't see an overwhelming amount of new posts as I used to...many months ago....I think that it shows that the combat rebalance/upgrade is what a huge part of the player base is really waiting for...moreso than JTL.

I'm doing good : ) Mastered Commando again but this time on a new server, so I could still satisfy my other playstyles as melee / carbineer / pistoler / rifleman etc...last time I was a master commando was like 7 months ago. Leveling with the flamethrower again sure brought back memories.... I felt like a commando again : ) I'm glad I mastered before the combat balance and major changes, so I don't have any grinding to do.

There is nothing new to discuss. We are all just waiting for the Sandbox to start so one daywe all can get into beta and discuss the changes. Secondly, i think alot of people are leaving the game.
But if they released some info about the "upgrade", i think these boards would light up like a christmas tree.

Yea, I agree 100%. I think that they're making a mistake of not releasing an officiala dummied down overview of what the Combat Upgrade plan they have in mind. Keeping people in the dark leads to impatience, which leads to fear and thenanger...which leads to the "Dark Side" of customer disatisfaction. heh.

a lot of the people who post are leaving that and anything new ideas or what not is completly pointless because everything will be changed with the CU any problems wont be fixed till the CU and we cant talk about the CU because we dont know jack we can place bets on what the cu will be

Yeah fella's I know what your saying. Nothing left except waiting........and coincidentally we have been doing that since launch......or since a very short period after launch. SWG wise I really haven't been playing a whole lot. When I do play I do either JTL a bit to level my Piloting skills or complete what ever phase of the village that I choose......which is pointless since the FS mod's probably wont work till the C.U..(C.U, which used to be Combar Revamp.......which will all probably be.....we will wait and see I guess) as far as that I wrote a short story to express my dissatisfaction (i'll hunt it down and copy it on to here) but sadly nobody read it since nobody is on the forums right now. Anybody see the movie "Saw"?

Its been like that the last couple of weeks, on all forums, save Jedi/FS forums. Its not just here, although there only seems to be about 15 active posters here.

What can I say? Maybe WoW, EQ2, Halo2, and Halflife2 are finally going to start taking their toll.

"Hello everybody, welcome to FanFest XXI". The small crowd simply shuffles it's feet and looks destinctly disinterested. "Now I know all of you are anticipating the up and comming Combat Upgrade, but first I would like to get to know a few of you" The speaker points to a middle aged man that is wearing a Mountain Dew stained Jedi Robe. "You there, you seem to be enthusiastic. Tell me about your-self" The man looks up in suprise with his mouth hanging open (I must say that his mouth is not open due to suprise.....he's just a mouth breather) "My name is Gary, I've been playing SWG for 15 years now. I live in my mother's basement and I almost have all of the "Battle Pope" comics........anybody here go issue 19, I can buy it when my mom picks me up"
The speaker at this point gave the man a shrew'd look and decided that he had best move on, and quickly. "I'm glad you all came and I am glad that I have gotten to know all of you, since we all have that in common I can share with you a little snippit of the documents that we might release sometime in the next few weeks.......that is after we finish patching JTL and add some more high level NPC's and then we got to take a small nap. At that point I would like to go for a small walk down to my apartment, the walk is about 4 miles so I will be tired and have to take another small nap. Well, around here...its just alot of waiting for the big hoopla to begin. When that begins, hopefully soon, expect alot of clamoring for the hoopla.

Yea I hate to say it but the game is kind of dead. I mean JTL is basically a bunch of medical equipment just barely keeping it alive or so it seems sometimes.
I just get tired of endlessly waiting without knowing what to expect. I mean jesh at least give us something to complain about if that is the case.
