Is it safe to say that the Proton Rifle will be a part of the Rifleman Profession?

certification will be at master commando only it seems, atleast as it stand now. And the commando community has been after a assault rifle along time, so Im sure that wont change.. but rifleman has a massive rifle array to choose from, so cant see why we cant have that for ourselves

Exactly. Sure, it looks cool, but give the Commandos a little love, for heaven's sake! As long as riflemen have a good variety of certs available with a broad range of damage types and potency (damage / speed), then I'm happy.

From the screenshot I saw (a week ago) the damage/speed looks comperable to a T21. Has this changed?

well take screenshots with alittle caution, the damage ranges are not final. So not sure that what you see there represents what we once the CU goes live. But Im guessing it will be a rather slow, high damage rifle.

yes we commandos get the rifle at master cert but we can use different profs specials with our weapons so many commandos r taking up the rifleman tree to use rifle specials with our new proton rifle so there will be many new hyrbid profs out there and it looks like commando/rifleman will be one of them so hello rifleman heres a friendly wave from a commando...

There are several posts on this topic and even more responses in other topics. Try a search. It will one hit incap a jedi because their neurons are actuallyelectrons and their mitichlorians reject the proton aspect of our master weapon that is a drop from N-K Necrosis and adds +10 to HW Speed and Acc and is subpar to any other master level weapon DPS wise that comes to mind.
