I heard they drop holocrons... and you need lvl 35+ Faction missions to get them. So umm where do you get lvl 35 faction missions? Top I can get is 25... and tried around a few places.

I can get 35 as a master commando.

Group with other high people. Group with high pets. Your group affects the level.

Of course be sure your most skilled weapon equiped.

But never seen a dark trooper in a mission no matter what lvl

I don't see anything about getting high lvl faction missions to fight Dark Troopers there.

Do the missions actually say dark troopers in them?

Or how would you know?

I know some say storm trooper camp, but then again the imp missions don't exactly say surface martial, just large rebel base.

What exactly do they look like. I've been hearing conflicting versions of the DT.

I spawned the dark trooper mission in coronet, and there were no 3 letter name st's.

They looked like regular ST's but they had black armor.

Are the dark troopers the white st's with the pack on his pack and beefed up?

They are the ones with the backpack and beefed up like he-man, and every one i've seen has had 3 letters in t heir name, not sure why you don't see that

I don't know if the backpack ST are officially called darktroopers, but they are the ones you want to kill, not the ones with dark armor. I got my holocron off the second backpack ST I killed...

OK, I'm trying to do the Garm missions on Corellia and have a little bit of a problem. How do you tell if it is a Dark Trooper as opposed to a regular one? I try to /examine every one I fight beforehand, but they all just say "stormtrooper". Have I not come across any Dark ones yet? Or is there some other way to tell the difference?

The reason i ask is they supposedly drop holocrons. I was going to keep aborting the mission so I could keep fighting the Dark Troopers. I want to make sure I don't wind up completing the mission inadvertently and denying myself a chance ata holocron.
