Thread: New Title after Max'ing flamethrower
Grenadier has nothing to do with grenades. It has a historical definition that predates Napolean.
It's a heavy infantryman. It's actually appropriate.
yea, but does everyone else that plays the game gonna know that when they see the name "grenadeer"? how about something that actually relates to theflamethrower master?
The reason is because before the profession's revamp, the flamethrower tier was the thrown weapon tier so apparently its another thing they overlooked.. new skills, no new title.
Thats just silly. I hope something happens soon... but it seems like they will have to have a whole patch or two dedicated to the commando at this rate..

Agree! In a way you could use the term for maxing any of the 4 trees.
Looking at the SS Grenadiers, well whatever the full German spelling was
They carried flamethrowers, more than there fair share of the heavy morters and heavy machineguns and so forth.
Grenadiers were generally carried around in nice armoured half tracks to (mech infantry), hopefully in the vehicle expansion we get access to some commando only vehicles to reflect the nature of the profession!
