A long time!!

I started the game with the intention of getting master commando. I got it about 8 months ago and wont be dropping it. Dont care what they nerf, I have loads of fun playing it. I will eventually retire the account, still as a master commando.

Had it since Sept 2003.... dropped it two nights ago. Finally got tired of spending that many skill points and not to be able to hit the broad side of a barn with anything, and don't have the patience to keep waiting for a continually back burnered combat revamp. So dropped carbs and went farther up TKM and will add doctor in.

Best of luck to all of you and hope the fixes come well for you all. Retired my master commando and send a /salute out to all the oldies hanging in there and good luck to the newer members of the fold.

If my 3 tries to get into beta proved successful...then over 1 year, however they werent...so im celebrating my year anniversary in about 2 weeks.

Does a month count as long? Then again, I was an MBH for most of the previous year, so I should get some points for that.

I've wanted to be a Commando since the live release of SWG, and I became one late last summer. Running around during Beta testing, I saw a Commando trainer and always have thought it was a cool concept. Ihad one of the old flamethrowers that did awful damage, and did flame 1 with a massive DOT value of about 70-100. I let my subscription lapse shortly after the patch that made Commandos awesome, and everyone started becoming one. I returned to see that Commandos were still broken,but I am hanging in there at 2-3-4-0 (despite most people telling me to drop it). I just don't see any point in wasting the skill points to obtain master if the profession is still broken. Respect to all who stay Commando despite its massive flaws, it's an awesome concept for a profession that I hope will see brought to its full glory.

hmm I started working twords commando since my first week and I got there with in a month so probably 7-9 months

Let's see started out as a scout artisan and then mastered WS. Got bored with grinding and hunting for decent resources. Decided to dump WS and took up TK. Mastered doctor to go with TK but got bored with that. Tried CH and it just was not for me. Decided to go commando and see how it was and made novice commando a few days ago and am currently 4/0/4/0 and plan on mastering it soon. I am having a great time blowing stuff up and setting things on fire. I should have done this a long time ago. Sorry I didn't. I am planning on keeping TKM and mastering commando.

about a month, and just made master last night

The NGE is a decent start. Now lets bring the rest of the worlds up to par with Tatooine and Mustafar
