Actually the request came to me and others to produce some test results based off of reports that people feel they are missing a lot more then they use to on TC (not just Commandos)...I brought it to TH's attention that several Commandos have told me the same thing, that they seem to be missing a lot more since the patch and he asked me to e-mail him some test results when I had a chance...
You don't have to be a Commando to participate...I only suggested Commandos because most us are already familiar with our own personal hit/miss ratios and would be more apt to be able to tell whether it's gone up or down since the patch...
TH is not going to make folks Commandos for this small test...If we don't produce results (along with the others testing) then the change will go into live as is...but if we produce results then they may see a need to change something...
Around the same time as the Combat Test Server (the Sandbox) goes live, I've heard reports the Character Copy system is suppose to as well (speculation...nothing confirmed) so that we will be able to transfer our characters to that server for direct testing...
It is possible that the devs may just make an exact duplicate of TC for the Sandbox, like they did for the Jedi Test Server...this would mean that if you have a Commando on TC, you'd have a Commando on the Sandbox...and that's why I've suggested to some that they start grinding on TC just in case (and log in to it for at least 10 minutes at least twice a week)...I still don't know the specifics of the Sandbox or the selection process, but as soon as I do know something, I'll post it...
But I can't face that UA grind again, marksman wasn't so bad, and working through Commando its self has been fun, but getting there was hell.

Besides the requirements, nothing combat oriented.
What Mob/Lair did you attack?
Crazed gurreck lairs.
How often did you hit/miss your target mob? (out of 10 shots for example)
Only noted lair attacks.
How often did you hit/miss the actual lair? (out of 10 shots for example)
Flamer:
54 shots, out of those 4 missed.
Launcher Pistol:
157 shots, 12 missed.

Well, it is kinda odd to miss at optimum range, using a rifle in prone position, aiming, and missing, so that's where it's felt the most.
Suggestion
Maybe they could make the Aim skill reduce or even eliminate the chance of missing. Aiming takes away an entire second, and it would make sense that taking extra care to aim would make it even less likely to miss.
