I know nothing is going to be released for a while, but still....Its like a train wreck...You know you shouldnt look at it, but you feel compelled to anyway.
I'll keep trying to drop hints when I can, but to be honest, the more time that goes by, the more I seriously think we won't see any Revamp related information posted by the Devs until after JTL launches...We know they have the info, but they are purposefullynot posting it...So my guess is that they are trying to make JTL the main focus before they move on the the Revamp...Notice the main focus on all their big posts lately including the Friday Features...all seem to be hyping JTL...but over in the Correspondent forum they have no problem discussing Revamp with us...My guess is the bossman has the Devs hands tied until JTL goes out the door.
Just the other day TH said once again that after JTL launches they are moving straight into the Revamp and that it is the only thing scheduled next...so that does help keep my optimism up...

This helps explains certain things. I was beginning to wonder what the point of the Correspondent summit was.
I assumed this was the case. The big people in the board room upstairs want their new mercedes by Christmas so they are holding the devs back from anyhting besides JTL.
I honestly believe that the devs want the best for this game. They want to try their best and are, but any changes and such are being decided by the big people upstairs.
Sucks really.
I honestly probably wont get JTL until after the ground game is fixed. I dont really have a desire for JTL. I want the ground game to work.

The DEVS were afraid that the flames from the MASSIVE protests of the Jedi Revamp and JTL would destroy what is left of SWG. They needed to put the fires out quickly as MANY posters were bombarding other games site and retailers sites down playing JTL. The Correspondent Summit was designed to let a few people in on their future plans and use those people to quite down the community.
Obviously their plan worked, as their are NO longer any massive customer bleeds and rants on the boards. They have not changed their schedule at all, as can be noted from earlier posts on the subject.
Have they not noticed yet that the majority of the forum community seem to want the revamp first? With the core game itself being broken, I'd think fixing it would be a much more pressing issue than making and releasing a new expansion.

Oh I think they know that...but we all know what will happen when they start posting the Revamp docs...What will people want to talk about? If they posted them before JTL launches, nobody would be talking about JTL, it would be all Revamp...and the Devs would probably be fielding nothing but Revamp questions...I think the fear is that JTL would get lost in the over-welming nature of the beast called Revamp...
Think about it this way, which would the majority of players rather talk about right now if they had to choose one or the other...JTL or the Combat Revamp? I think we all know the answer to that one, which is something I'm sure scares a Marketing department and the Big Bosses upstairs...That's why I think they want to try and keep the Dev as well as our focus on JTL for the time being...once it launches they'll then probably move into the Revamp...

Personally, I dont care about JTL.
I am in beta, its fun (for about 20 minutes) and purty and all that, but I still hold the rope that installing a new expansion when the core system is broken is a bad idea. So, they can try and keep my focus on JTL by using headfakes and misdirections, but its awfully hard to ignore how much of the game is still broken after a year
