Personally, I dont care about JTL.
I am in beta, its fun (for about 20 minutes) and purty and all that, but I still hold the rope that installing a new expansion when the core system is broken is a bad idea. So, they can try and keep my focus on JTL by using headfakes and misdirections, but its awfully hard to ignore how much of the game is still broken after a year
I'm guessing that it's players like you that are their biggest worry and why they haven't released the Docs...The flash of JTL has warn off in your eyes and you are more interested in talking about the Revamp...If there are more players out there just like you (which I'm guessing there are) it makes it hard for them to keep the hype up about JTL...So if they published the Docs before JTL releases, the hype for JTL wouldn't be as easy to see...it would be buried in Revamp chatter...
So that's my guess as to why we haven't seen the Docs...it's because it would easily overwhelm the JTL hype...It's not that they think JTL is so much more important in the player's mind, but rather, they know the Revamp in more important to the majority and they want to curb it's focus before JTL launches and the Player moves on...
I do PvE and so far have a blast setting stormtroopers and whatever creatures I'm hunting on fire. I am dealing out 10X damage that what I use to do. Got cool, weapons and skills to use them.
When any improvements come it will just add to the experience.
