Oh where is this new proton rifle i have been testing on testcenter for commando at? Weaponsmiths dont have the schematic for it. Does anyone know?

Its a lootschematic, and unlikely ROTW as its CU-based, not expansion based (there are ROTW new weapons seperately too). The question still remains...where the heck do we get these? The devs ain't budging, and its a question we're seeking answers for =)

I'm curious, do they have any reason they aren't telling us? It seems kinda lame that we don't even have the foggiest idea of where to look for our only decent single-target weapon. IMO, they should at least drop hints of where to look - as of now we don't even know if they're in the game yet.

May not mean anything but the new AS Corr was told crafted BH armor schems will be a future content loot so it might not be in yet.

Obviously, we're just going to be searching until someone finds one. I'm heading to Dath tomorrow to see what my template can really do. If I find one, I'll let everyone know.

I may be wrong here, it's a while since i was on TC, but didn't the description mention it being a rodian hunting weapon?

This would tie in with the friday feature, so my guess is ROTW.

My lack of faith... completely and utterly justified.

I suspect it's not in yet.

If you go to the bazzar and look under Misc/Generic items, there are plenty of other rare loot schematics (Bezerker Rifle, Scythe, etc) but nothing we haven't seen before. To be fair, some things players own exist (Fruit Stands, etc) that aren't in the game, but by and large they're old items at launch that wern't supposed to be picked up in the first place. Once it's in the game proper, it should show up in the list as a weapon, or (more likely) a schematic. As of last Thursday, it was in neither place.
