I was overt in Coronet (i'm an imp) waiting for the shuttle, I had my master commando tag on and some covert rebel was bad mouthing me and calling me names and expletives (funny how the onetalking crap are alwayscoverts). Well I told him to duel me, keep in mind I had my master commando tag on. He said ok, i asked him if there was any rules he wanted implemented, i told him i also TKM. He said no, so i challenged and he ran up to me at point blank and accepted my duel. I opened up with a kd2, he's on the ground i followed through with flame2. Needless to say he kept on talking crap and proceeds tell me that' i'm a noob and that i only won because i had an overpowered weapon and i'll be nerf soon.

I replied,

1. First off, if you see someone with the master commando tag, stay 16m away.

2. Second, if someone tells you they're TKM, make sure you stay the hell away.

3. Third if someone told you that they're both 1 and 2, you do not run up to them and challenge.

4. Fourth, don't call someone a noob if they've master 3 combat professions (marksman, TKA, commando)

Now it's because of idiots like that that we get nerfed, they dont' know how to fight other people's profession. I mean for crying aloud why the hell who you run up to a Master Commando/TKM? and what did he expect me to do? **edit** slap him to death?

Anyone else had similar experience?

My personal favorite incident occured back when you could still loadkilll people at Starports.

I'd just logged into Bestine (I'd logged out an Overt Imperial)... only to find myself lying on my back with half my HAM gone and someone shooting at me. Preferring to avoid confrontation, I tried to burstrun away, but got KD'd again. Seeing as I couldn't run, I pulled out my FT (keep in mind I had my Grenadeer title up the entire time) and he charged me.

I must complement whoever that was on their tactical brilliance. Needless to say, they ran away about 2 seconds later on firewith a good portion of their HAM gone. It looked like they were trying to heal themselves (and they seemed to be doing an Ok job of it.) While they tried to flee the city I noticed some other defenders gave chase. Then I pulled out my AT-ST.

Needless to say, that was the last time he tried to loadkill me...

I was sitting covert at the Imperial Outpost on Dantooine waiting to go to Coronet to heal my battle fatigue, since I had just died, and a covert rebel commandocomes in, and starts killing all the storm troopers and officers in the area. So what do I do? I go declare, come back over, run over, /kneel, /flamesingle2, /flamesingle1. At this time, she seemed to notice me, so I ran behind the wall just as she got a flame on me, while the storm troopers were hitting her, then strafed back out, fired a rocket launcher at her while she was doing a good job of healing the flame damage. This set her back a bit in her healing process, so she dropped unconcious. Unfortunately for her, she had good buffs and stood up and dropped right back down 20 seconds later, at which point I deathblowed her, and some nice fellow imps healed me till the dot went down.

Now the rain of trashtalking came through about how much of a n00b I was to combat because I attacked her while she was fighting storm troopers under the shuttle at the IMPERIAL OUTPOST! **edit** do some poeple think? Hmmm base named after an opposing faction with a recruiter....

My other favorite moments were all disabling someones bike in one shot as they drove by and killing them while there were trying to figure out how thier bike got disabled.

This one just happened to me today, was covert Imp near Moenia getting some droids made. I see these two guys attacking a imp NPC, so I walk up the him and go overt. This is where I figured out these guys were total noobs. CDEF rifle and pistol, one had bone armor. I promptly pull out FT and blast them bost with one cone1. I reflected on my actions, and decided that it was probably not the best thing I had every done. Just then I recieved a tell from the one with the rifle it read, "That was friggin awesome!"

Tricky- Thats a good story.

My only good story was when I was dueling a carbineer just for fun, he told me he didn't want me to use and DoTs because their are too much wounds, so I said if I can't DoT he can't KD. Anway we decided both should be allowed and we also allowed DB.

He knocks me down before I even get to kneel, and he continues knocking me down, starts laughing and gives me a break. I get up and just blast a flameSingle 2 on him and he knocks me down again and again all the while laughing, he must have assumed as a commando my DoT missed, needless to say myDoT did what it's made to do and hestopped laughing. I got up and DB'd him.

Just yesterday I was running around coronet while overt because I forgot to go covert after running faction missions. Well, I had been running faction missions for a long while so my ham bars were all about half black and youall know how much of a pain it is to get a heal when you're overt so... Anyway, this bh in full compositeand fully buffedstarts chasing me down. What am I going to do? I can't outrun him and he's already initiated combat so I can't call my bike and ride away. I turn around equiping my flamer and my(sarcasm) oh so uber(/sarcasm) mabari armorweave (I'm poor) and run straight at the guy. I get within 16m and queu a flamesingle2. I guess this guy realised he was within 16m because he started running away but the flamesingle2 fired before he made it out of range. Here is the amazing part. I didn't miss! He dodged but I didn't miss and the dot landed on him. Now I'm not sure how but I managed to live through the recycle time and even fire a flamcone2 but I did. No miracles of accuracy this time though. I missed and was promptly incapped and death blown. This guy gets all cocky and says over my grave, "that's 3." It annoyed me a little so I didn't respawn right away. I wanted to see what my dot did to him. Interestingly enough, two other imperials come out of nowhere and engage this cocky rebel bounty hunter. The fight was very short. I watched(with satisfaction)my dot take down at least 2k of his nearly 3k health and turn about a third of his health bar black before the other imp he was fighting incapped him and death blew him. Lethal even in death. A fact which has brought a plague of nerf on our beloved flame dot but also, which has given me extreme satisfaction.

My golden..or should I sa dark moment, was right after they slapped the 2,5X on us, as a reply to us wanting to get rid of the 2,5X bonus we had on Riflemen.

I was outside Coronet, chasing a durni mission worth 3k....Yeah, I was broke, and needed some petty cash...

I was not armored, as I figured that durnis would'nt make much of a difference, and I wanted to save my Stormie armor from the wee bit of decay.

I came to the nest, and lined up my flamer and fired. Instantly the 4 durnis surrounding the lair charged me, and 2 more spawned, making all in all 6 durnis about to nibble on my toes....or so I believed.

I targetted one of the durnis, and fired a shot...Miss!...Another shot..Miss!

I was starting to take damage, every durni hit me for friggin 100 damage..Not just nibbling at my toes as usual, but biting large chunks of flesh from my feet. And with 6 durnis doing this, they bit me for 600 damage every other second.

Quickly a stimpack was used, healing myself up fully...And I scored a hit, with the third shot on the durni. 1 down, 5 to go.

I fired a shot on the next durni...Miss!..I was starting to realise, that if I missed again, I would not be the victor in this battle...

Miss!....

As my life passed before my eyes, and I was fading to unconciousness, a hit was scored on the durni..2 down, 4 to go..And I fell to the ground incapped.

The durnis camped my body, and as soon as I got on my feet, they attacked me again, and before my "uberclicking" on the stimpack, would fire off, I was down again..and the only shot I got off from my flamer, was a miss!

Durnis 2 - Ralp Galland, Master Commando 2.

As I got up on my feet for the second time, they aggroed again. Thye must have been so angry at me for making their lair smoke...

Before my heal kicked off, I was down again..this time...dying. And the last thing that flared past my eyes before waking up in the cloning, was..."You fired your flamethrower at a Durni and missed"

Durnis 3 - Ralp Galland, Master commando 2. Victory to the Durni team.

The next day, I was 0-2-2-2 Bounty Hunter....

Don't worry, after mastering Bounty Hunter, I turned back to the commando way again, as I missed my oh so inaccurate heavy weapons..Now a Master Commando again, with a commando comming on Bria and one comming on TC. This time, no dev action will make me hand in my Commando tags...Before that, I will rather quit alltogether.

(I have never looked at Durnis the same way since then....I fear them, hate them, loathe them..And will drop anything I am doing, to slay the Durnis I see..Even if I'm involved in PvP... )

KD2 and Flamesingle2 are such a great combination in PvP. That guy must've felt pretty dumb afterwards! Hahah

Just tonight, went on a raid with my guild to a city on Corellia called Balast, we were fighting down a narrow "street" at one point, myself, a riflemen, some other ranged fighters were duking it out with 4 or 5 imps about 50m away (We would have closed but we were trying to stay away from their bases.) Realizing my flamethrower wasn't being effective enough without the flame dot, I sent a rocket down range. I actually HIT my target, but not only that, I incapacited the guy to his right, and damaged the two on his left enough that we were able to drop them. I felt so happy cause my rifleman told me I could db, which I quickly did.

That was the high point, but it wasn't the only rocket I fired tonight that hit, I think I hit with 4-5 others, all on players, and all of them were damaged so badly my group was able to finish them quickly. No other incaps or dbs for me from my rockets though

Great stories guys! I am still a novice 0-0-3-0, but am working hard for master. One thing that I really love about being a commando (and master marksman) is that we have all kinds of weapons available to us. I have recently become very valuable to my guild, seeing as how I am the only commando, because I can always hit something hard. Acid, cold, stun, blast, energy, kinetic, heat...we got it. Of course, I miss with a lot of it, lol.
