nothing NOTHING beats the thrill i know all of us have had. running into an army of npc faction personnel and flame cone 2 and flame single all of them into dust. And being the only thing standing after a fight against 20 something npcs. now THAT is a golden moment

One of the few golden PvP moments Ive had was this...

In a duel in Anchorhead..a hell long time ago....I was Kd/Dizzied...so I kept falling down and down..I was nearly killed in ham...i already missed 3 times with my flamer....then all of a sudden I caught that window of oppertunity when you're halfway up and halfway down and fired off a special that connected and instantly incapped the guy... (he wasnt wearing armor..so it was possible..and this was before the composite armor en mass)

my best was when i was buying some smuggler supplies at a vendor and i stepped out of the house to see a rebel camp right in front of me. being the FP opprotunist that i am, i one shotted each of the rebs and then 2 shotted the base itself. as soon as i did two imp noobs wearing the dress uniforms and OVERT ran up and started trash talking me for taking their mission. i told them they still got the cash for it and to spend their faction points on something somewhat useful and not run around overt when they are novice marksmen. they started trash talking me even more and one pulled out a trooper and chalanged me. i told him he really needed to think about how he spent his faction points if he couldn't afford armor or buffs yet and told him to appologize for insulting me or i would accept the duel and death blow him. he made a few choice words about my mothers sexual prefrences and weight so i accepted and let him and his buddy plink away at me with their scout blasters while i killed the trooper. then i flame coned the two of them and then flame singled the one that survived the cone. after that i gave them the death blow and a 1k tip each to put towards useful armor or something.

now it gets funny.

later that day im at the same smuggler shop buying locked containers that were just put up and i step out after slicing them (and not getting anything but 3 empties) and what do i see but another rebel base. once again i take the FP and once again i see these two dorks in their imp costumes, but this time on speeders, riding up (i guess they bought land speeders for 1k each). the whole thing starts over again and they chalange me to another duel. i decide that i really have to put them in their place andso i pull out a survival knife from a crate in my slicing bag and pwn both of them with that. i had given somebody my brawler xp for their training earlier and hadnt untrained 1 handed 2. after death blowing them, i sat down to slice my bulk of knives to clear room in my inventory and untrain 1 handed. 5 minutes later they show back up trash talking me and saying they are going to report me for griefing. i told them to go ahead, they challenged me to the duel each time so the death blows were a calculated risk on their part. then one of them, the noobier one, decides to say that my death blow ruined his new composite armor that he just bought and he wants me to pay for it. i told him to put it in the trade window and prove he even had comp armor. this brought about another round of insulting my mother andand insinuating that she engaged inrecriational activities with donkeys in order to concieve me. i tell them they are going on ignore and one challanges me again, while still wounded. so i promptly kill him again. just before i put him on ignore i get a tell saying that his imp costume is at 0 condition because of me and that he wants me to use my smuggler skills to give him 3k faction so he can get more.

i hated putting them on ignore. they were such a boost to a long day of grinding knives and containers.

I had fun on a "player bounty" mission. Master Commando and Master Rifleman vs Master Commando and TKA. No buffs, me in Comp armour, other MC and TKA in Mabari. Fight starts, Rifleman mind bleeds the TKA, then gets wiped out by the MC who's ghosted and one-shot incaps him. TKA at the same time Dizzy/KDs me. The MC then runs up and promptly misses with three FlameSingle2s in a row, while the TKA is battering away with all the specials that she can. I finally get up, launch one UnarmedHeadHit1 at the TKA who by this time has mind bled away to nothing, insta-incap. One second later, I turn round, grab a FT and one-shot incap and kill the MC too. Pure fluke, but damn funny.
