agree with both..
they should make it like llc.. if you add a dot (witch makes sence) it would just be a CC of the flamer..
Increase the damage a bit and make it effective at longer ranges, otherwise its just another flamer. I like the LLC because it packs a punch, has AP1 and is good at any range.
I don't like the idea that the Commando weapons don't actually have Heavy AP, but by cranking up the damage they seem to have given them the damage they should have, without the AP.
What I want to see is that super cannon of plasma death that has Heavy AP with 3000 average base damage, only 5 shots per weapon, that could take down an AT-AT in one hit. Of course that wouldn't happen since the AT-AT's armor would drop the AP of the cannon so it would just be doing regular damage, and if they don't have more than 3000 points worth of Health, they shouldn't be AT-AT's...

I agree with the DOT as well as having AP3 but i think the DOT should be a little lower than the Flame DOT. Flame spreads over the body where acid just eats into it.

I've said it once in a thread with the same title, and I'll say it again.
I do not want the HAR becoming a FT clone.
Frankly, I'm against giving it a dot, rather I'd like to see it turned into a weapon that has an entirely different purpose and use, preferably a longer range weapon as we are weak in that area as far as chargeless weapons go. Maybe make it similar to the LLC? Although I'd still prefer something that's unique to a clone of another profession's weapon. Give us some variety, we need to do more than just light people on fire at close range and lob the occasional grenade/rocket.
If they get the chance, I'd also like to see it's effects changed to something cool looking, right now it looks like it's a weapon that fires a tiny projectile that's 1/8 the size of the barrel.
