Certs for Mandalorian armor will be: Bounty Hunter, Commando, Ranger and Squad Leader
This may not seem like a huge amount of love for us...but it's something that I've seen come up for discussion here...nice to know we made the list!!!
- I was not planning on getting the armor but now that i hear that commandos can wear it, I kinda want it now. however i wont wear it alot if a zillion people do because i was sort of anti-mandalorian armor because i dont want it to become comp armor. clone wars anyone?
The key things you have to remember about this armor is:
- It's hard to get and impossible if you don't take a DE and AS along with you to the cave (they have to craft the armor right there in the cave...no schematic drop)...Not going to be easy...
- You have to have the right components to craft the armor
- Only the above mentioned professions can wear the armor...
With that being said...I highly doubt there will be a lot of people wearing the armor...it will take some time before you see it as common place armor...
Riflemanisn't on that list, so its not like EVERYONE will be wearing it... 
None of those classes are real easy to pick up just to wear the armor, so besides the fact that we'll probably seen an influx of Commando's and even more then that BHs, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Composite will still be much easier to get and more then likely just as effective, so composite wars will probably still be the norm...

The Deathwatch guys on the other hand, are insane. They have anywhere from 75-150k HAM and these are the ones that drop the BH armor pieces. They're AR2 to boot. (speaking of which, I found it rather interesting that my RL, which reported 3k hits in the spam window only hit for around 1500 or so in reality.)
Ok, since I have no clue, could someone clear this up for me:
Is the mandalorian armor going to be a loot drop? Or do you have to craft it? From what Garvin said I understood you would have to get it crafted, but from what raptor is saying it is a loot drop.
Maybe I am misunderstanding something, any help clearing this up would be helpful.
You also need a tailor, preferrably a master.

Yep, I was talking about a seperate armor, it works like this:
- Acquire section of Bounty Hunter Armor
- Acquire all necessary components for Mandalorian Armor, many of which can only be found in the dungeon
- Take a MAS/MT/MDE with you into the Deathwatch Outpost and craft the piece in a special room within 5 minutes
- If succesful, you now have a piece of Mandalorian Armor
