Why was the thread about the delay in the "upgrade" deleted?

WHat in that thread scared the mods or was against policy?

Was itto prevent us from call Garvin on his promise?

There being deleted all over the place. they don't want people to put together all the promises that have been made so others can read. rather than step up to the plate and talka bout they rather just hide it.

The mods around here are too strict. They're too eager to lock and delete threads that don't praise them or SOE.

Thier quickness to cover up anything they don't like isn't helping the mood of those of us that are somewhat disillusioned with the SOE dev team.

Actually, i am happy they deleted a few certain threads. it was destroy the TC forum...... oye

Why the threads are being deleted? its because it serves no purpose that to spread more hate and anger. It doesn't make anyone feel good or happy. What good is getting all worked up over something we have no power to control?It would be the same for me to get all worked up and mad at my big boss for not giving me a christmas bonus. If the money and the people and the sales are not there, its not there.

For the devs, they truely want to make a great game. Hell, what kind of company throws tons of cash into a system hoping it bombs? Yeah, it hasn't been perfect, yeah, might have not been the best decisions, but geesh, every company, every game goes thru it. They are trying to make a game that is a hard one to make. You forget that Lucas Arts has a big hand in everything that goes into the game. They get the big Veto button, and Sony gets the make it work side. If it isn't going as well or fast enough for you, then apply for a job at Sony and start making code.

Please, i implore you my brethren, stop the anger and hate post because it serves no good purpose for us or the devs. I'm sure it doesn't make Garvin's job any easier. In fact, we use to be the greatest community in being positive and calm. Please don't change that and become.......no offense to you people........but smugglers and there constant no pull bug issue.

I am tired of waiting too. If i had any great ideas on how to speed it up, i would. I couldn't even see them work any harder than they do. My proof in point is that Tiggs spent her whole ThanksGiving holiday with us. She was working the whole freaking time. And for that i am very greatfull for her efforts and all the others who sacrificed their holiday for us.

It is time we looked at the great things they have done. And they have done great things for us. Yes, i do admit they also have done things that have greatly hurt us. But I truely belive they are trying to rectify it all. Let us give them the benefit of the doubt. Let rally around Garvin and his last 1% that is not what he likes. And when its all said and done. We just might have CURB sooner than even the devs expected.

But us displaying our disgust at their unwillingness to give us any information and endlessly postponing the Combat Rebalance/Revamp/"upgrade" is not breaking any of the forum rules.

There are no rules against us posting our disgust.

None of the posts that were deleted did anything other than display of lack of confidence in SOE to fix the game in a timely manner.

In fact it is my opinion that they are incapable of fixing it at all and are merely giving us an illusion to have us keep paying for the game.

I think that Treads that show the Dev's how upset we are, these are the threads that the Dev's should be seeing. But the Thread that had Garvin's posts in it was not flame filled, it consituted a rational discussion about the delay but still it was deleted because it show how upset we as a communtiy are.

Like I said, they're none too fond of threads that don't praise the SOE team.

We're not happy, and they seem to think that if they ignore that problem, we'll go away.

Looking at some of the more recent posts here and on other boards, I'd say that plan is working pretty good.

Only cause worth fighting for is a lost one, and I think the CB/CU?C whatever cause is about as lost as you can get.

I have no idea why it was deleted...I haven't been on all day and after my last post last night I haven't logged on again until just a short while ago...

In the past when I've chatted with Virrago, he's told me that sometimes posts just come up missing or sometimes someone posts something so flaming in a post that it get's deleted super quick and we don't get to see the reason why...someone might have posted after all of us something like that and it ended up getting the post deleted...

It would have had nothing to do with my promise as far as I know (otherwise they would have contacted me about it)...so I'll say it again...If the CU takes longer the 6 months from now I'll resign as the Commando Correspondent...

Because of certain things the Devs have said publically and because of certain things they haven't said publically, I know for a fact they WILL have the CU live before 6 months is up...remember, the CU isn't the only thing on the schedule...they push the CU back any farther and it'll start heavily effecting FUTURE planned items...so it HAS to go live within 6 months...
