there were two posts that were deleted on was Revamp History post that was posted bysomeone else and when I seen it was deleted, I went a head and posted a new one. The reason I did this is I believe its the right of the community to document the source if its frustration so that people can understand. The other post was a post written by me. I had logged on that morning and about fell out of my chair when I noticed TH posted in the CU thread. Excited I clicked and hoping to hear anything I found another one of TH's infamous post where he writes a page and says nothing and of course the wonderful timeframe of "less than a year more than a mini-publish" Anyway I started the thread. If anyone didn't get a chance to read it understand that a lively debate started mostly between the new classes of players the haves and the have-nots. Those with the CU information and those of us frustarted in the dark grasping for a crumb from the priviliged table.

My thread was deleted but there will be others that rise as long as SOE continues its current policy of public silence. You know this thing was compared and compared to JTL yet JTL has a public forum thread where devs actually did post somegeneral information now and then.Why can't they just use the formula they said they would:

Between now and JTL is where I come in. Right out of the gate, I’ll be working with the community to develop plans for the Combat Balance and post them on the site; we’ll do a few features and I will continue to post updates. Later we will do the same for the GCW, the Squad Leader Revamp and all of the community issues on the table. In this, we can marry community expectations and development goals in a way that has never been done before with online games.

To date no updates unless you consider "less than a year more than a mini-publish" an update.No posted plans to the site no features no post even when or if they will do these things. It seems they have completely decided to leave there original plan and the rest of us will only be able to know when and if we make it into BETA so until then the forum wars will probably rage on, people will cancel and those of us who are frustarted will probably continue to be talked down to by those who are in the know, being told if we're upset and frustrated we are whining and we "don't deserve" the fixes when they finally get here, but thats not suprizing its common place for the privilidged to talk down to theunprivilidged.It just seems to me that it doesn't have to be that way. I can't believe as long as they have been working on this thing I mean the Austin summit was the summer its almost winter they have absolutely nothing they could release publically...... not a thing in this massive expansion/rebalance/upgrade or what its true name should be COMBAT FIX is tangible its all still fluid. I find that extraordinarly hard to believe and if that be the case if there's nothing with confidence that won't change not even core mechanic then we are in for a long wait and the phrase less than a year makes more sense.

I have no idea why it was deleted...I haven't been on all day and after my last post last night I haven't logged on again until just a short while ago...

In the past when I've chatted with Virrago, he's told me that sometimes posts just come up missing or sometimes someone posts something so flaming in a post that it get's deleted super quick and we don't get to see the reason why...someone might have posted after all of us something like that and it ended up getting the post deleted...

It would have had nothing to do with my promise as far as I know (otherwise they would have contacted me about it)...so I'll say it again...If the CU takes longer the 6 months from now I'll resign as the Commando Correspondent...

Because of certain things the Devs have said publically and because of certain things they haven't said publically, I know for a fact they WILL have the CU live before 6 months is up...remember, the CU isn't the only thing on the schedule...they push the CU back any farther and it'll start heavily effecting FUTURE planned items...so it HAS to go live within 6 months...

Garvin was some disgruntled when they chose him,but I'm just flat out nuts. No way in hell the devs would ever let me have a spot like that.

Besides, Garvin isn't going anywhere. We have a chair, and I can find us some duct tape.

the surprising thing to me is that though we do complain and rant about the CU/R/B, we as commandos are usually polite, and sensible in our arguements, backing up logically supported ideas with available facts. we dont really flame (ironically) and we dontyell mindlessly, or badmouth individual people themselves, only their efforts or lack there of. for the most part, we act as responsible adults who are paying for a service that isnt being supplied.

No kidding heheh. Here I stoped ranting so I can keep up with all the docs and posts and I come back and its still going on. Glad to see I was not the only ranter. Hehhe. Its good to vent and show how angry we are. But come on lets all sit back sip a Long Island Ice Tea. And Chilllll.
