Thread: Just read about the CH nerf and Im Pissed!!!
Alright, this isnt about them stopping dablers in CH, its about how they are doing it.
For one, the CH's get a nice long report from ThunderFART about why they're doing it and how they're doing it well ahead of going live while we got sucker punched in the nuts, then bent over without the common courtesy ofa reach around.
Two, they really look at it to make sure no one dabling could be any good as a CH and yet keep the MCH's and higher level CHS from finding themselves in a broken professionby REARANGING the whole skill tree, while we've hollared for them to do that with us instead, they went and took us all out.
Third, they did it as a "Balancing" thing again, however it isnt balancing it because they make it so a non-CH can no longer have our gurracks or rock beetles because they are higher than level 10(the new cap for non-CH pets). Like those are so freakin powerfull, My @$$. They just buy time and dont do any real damage and I never would have had one if theey hadnt pulled a crapy damage mod on me.
Finally, they stop us from dabling in CH, yet I see all thes friggin guys running around with Rancors and a flamethrower, which they think is a problem but I go news for them, thats not a Comando dabling in CH, its a CH dabling in comando. The CH, in my oppinion, in order to be balanced, needs to spend up more of their skill pool. Maybe they should require Squad leader first if they are going to give comands to followers. Not that it would help considering a pistoleer is more powerful than a comando anyway since that nerf. Hell, should just do that, then be a friggin CH or maybe just dabble with flame 4 since it seeems to be ok that I do that but not dabble with CH.
All they're doing is making CH's even more overpowered by cutting off the limbs of other professions. Seeing that now you may have a master comando or a friggin BH that runs into a MCH carrying their best weapon,(The Flamer or LLC) only the CH has a pet and whoops your arse! Not like they need a rancor to take out a master Comando or BH, since those master skills, even when whats on the test center goes live, doesnt add up to even them having a just a friggin Gurrak.
I guess im done ranting. Anyone else want a turn?

Malakili was da bomb!
Seriously, there are too many CH's.
My solution is they should increase the cost of each skill in CH by one point. That should subtract (18?) points from everyone's skill points, and less people would want to be CH.
Im not saying I disagree that there needed to be changes. What Im pissed about is the fact that I wont even be able to have a cowardly gurrak or rock beetle but yet a master CH can have my flamethrower and be bout as good as i ever could be with it.
You see, the Flamethrower is to a comando what a rancor is to a CH.
I bet you'll still see a lot of graul maulers and rancors, maybe eventually more, because when this new system hits, and a master CH is the only one that can use them, and can still pick up 2 branches of comando, or, maybe just the LLC line in BH, they wil have no competition and the only way to compete would be to become master CH.
MCH is way to easy to obtain if there are already so many people doing it. If you want an example of how hard it should be, talk to someone that played as a tamer in Ultima. They were powerful but it took a very long time to master.
This is not Ultima, and its already to late to increase the dificulty because you'd just increase the gap more between casual and power gamers but I think they should have given diferent types of XP. 1 for taming wild creaturesto raise your taming level, 1 for training that you only go up in each time you tame a new pet new comands, 1 for management where you gain for giving having your pets attak, defend, fight, and finally one for empathy that you gain by feeding and meding your pets.
Anyway, what the heck am I talking about CH for? Really its not about what a CH can do its how they told everyone ahead of time and even asked for feedbackl and how this really isnt a nerf but rather filters out some dablers.
Good job to sony for filtering out just the dablers from being gods and making master something there, but where is our fix? Why are we in the dark? Whyd our profession get a silent nerf? Whyd you smack us all in the face, even the masters? The silence is my frustration and I could easily right now jump to another profession but I worked hard to get here, and even harder to stay here, and now I want my reward, and I'm not asking for much, I just want to be back to comandos original luster.
Oh yeah, and a cooky to say your sorry.lol
"master CH should be a huge grinding process, such as you must train atleast 3,000 pets before you reach it. BH got stuck with investigation..."
Master CH is a huge grind.
I can't tell you how may pets i had to train to get to master, but it was more than enough.
Im not a power gamer, I have been playing this game since day one, and I just now got Master CH about 2 weeks ago. I just got Master scout today. What Im getting at is that getting Master CH shouldn't be any more work than it currently is. SOE doesn't want to make this game tough for the casual gamer like me.
