Thread: Any word yet on the proton Rifle?

On the downside, force choke now cuts cleanly through all armour and defenses (and I thought it was bad before...)
whats up
nope still broken, hasnt even been acknowledged as being broken (as if this is surprising)
God knows it never did any of vaders enemies and officers a damned bit of good.
Besides if I recall that is part of the loving the master powers jedi proff is getting. But of course a largely usless jedi profession gets TLC long before any non jedi proff.

As a commando I can say nobody has the right to complain about force choke. It doesn't make sense for being choked to be reduced by armor

New Proton Rifles are getting fixed...no ETA on old ones
I'm sorry Stern but I am highly pissed off at this. No ETA on old ones is assinine. They put in new ones... just add code to convert the old ones into new ones when you log in or have us drag and drop it on a Commando Trainer to recieve a replacement like CH's did with pets when their levels changed. There is no decay on any of the old ones for the sole fact that they have never been able to be fired, so everyones is still in brand new condition.
Yeah, I spent like 5 or 6 days continuoulsy killing necrosis to get just ONE off of him, I don't want to go through that again.
If they make it a quest item in say, the next publish, then I'm fine with it though.

See.... if I hadn't spent so much on it before anyone knew it was broken and just looted like mad for it, I would be ok. The problem is that no one knew they were bugged yet when I bought mine to save me the effort of going after N-K so much to try and get our item.
I guess that teaches me. Don't trust the Dev's to have a working item... even if it is in your hands and expect them to fix it. I will have to test fire every weapon I get from this day forward to make sure that the Devs are not ripping me off on my credits for an item that was fixed several times on TC when we were testing it. I guess after two years I shoulda known better than to get an item I wanted when it first came out.
Yeah, I see your problem, and them having simply a quest for it won't fix it for you.
At the very least, they make nice wall decor.
