Rifleman already has the offensive version, it's called "Advanced Aim." I doubt they'll add a speed boost for Commando, you've seen the problems they've had with Jedi and Doctor speed buff stacking (I think they're nerfing the Jedi buff because of it- nice to see them stick up for Docs).
However, what about this-
Purge: Reduces weapon damage by 20%, 3x elemental damage. Lasts for 20 seconds, only usable when holding Commando weapons. Novice Commando required.
Improved Purge: Reduces weapon damage by 30%, 5x elemental damage. Lasts for 30 seconds, only usable when holding Commando weapons. X/3/X/X Commando required.
Advanced Purge: Reduces weapon damage by 50%, 8x elemental damage. Lasts for 45 seconds, only usable when holding Commando weapons. Master Commando required.
Obviously some rebalancing should be done, but I want to be an elemental damage dealer, damn it!
The PFT wouldn't see much out of this (1000 damage max, 90 fire = 500 damage max, 720 fire) but imagine the LBC (800 damage max, 150 electrical = 400 damage max, 1200 damage electrical).
We could make it simpler though:

Speed Bonus = Bad Idea.
Speed bonus just means your action is destroyed faster. We would need a damage buff, pure damage buff. +250 damage to all attacks or something. No questions asked, non-resisted +250 damage.

Riflemen have an accuracy buff, not a damage buff. I dont do more damage when I use aim, so it does nothing but make you hit more often. Damage would be good

But accuracy makes you do more damage post-CU... in fact, it's compared to Defense to see how much damage you do (though I think it works like old-school damage mitigation, where if their defense is higher than your accuracy, you hit closer to the minimum damage on your weapon. But you DO get bonus damage if you have a high accuracy AFAIK, it probably has the same diminishing returns as defense.)

However, this is one of those things that'll never happen if the devs continue to ignore us...

Ok besides actually fixing our Weapons and Grenades I think we deserve a little more, because even if our Weapons and Grenades were functioning we'd still be relatively useless.
Now I've been looking around.
Ever notice how CoB boosts Melee Folks Defense by 500 and Duelist Stance by 250?
So I ask this.
Why is there not an Offensive version of such? You know something that boosts your Damage for awhile but comes with Warm-Up, like Duelist Stance.
This could be our 1 Special, besides those in our Weapons. Think about it.
I'd call it Rage.
However I have yet to decide whether it should be a Damage Bonus or a Speed Bonus. I think Speed might be better though.
So at Novice Commando.
Rage-Modifys Attack Speed by 10.
At Master Commando.
Extreme Rage-Modifys Attack Speed by 30.
As just Master Commando we probably wouldn't outdamage Rifleman. Due to our relative lack of other Specials.
But this one ability would vastly help us with any Template we choose even Melee, as you could also hasten your Melee Attacks.
It is my belief that Commandos should be Masters of Weapons, Mayhem, and Damage. With this we could do all that. Heck Commando might actually be a good thing to have in your template now.
I really think we need something like this.

Okay, one, I've been around this particular forum for as long as you've been registered. Don't you dare try to order me around.
Second, how do you propose we fight them? They are in complete control of the game world. They can do anything they want to as long as LA approves it.

Anyways, things are in such a bad state...I feel a revamp thread coming on, especially with Joken talking to me lately lol.
Btw...no update on any issues so far, Im trying to get a response, if possible, about where our AoE fix went currently on the corr forums.

Actually, from my observations it doesnt, even though it should. I do the same damage w/ 250 accuracy, as I do w/ 500 (+250 rifleman buff)
