Even though I am starting to phase out the commando profession in my character. I do tend to agree, Garvin would be a great person fill in, in LordS absence.

I can't think of anyone more suited to the job. Garvin would make an excellent correspondent, though I wish that such a posting was not necessary, given the situation. Still, I think Garvin'd do LordS proud until his return.

Of course, I'd be happy to assist in any way with the new correspondent, despite not currently being a Commando.

I mentioned this in my post asking what was going on but as the title was off topic I dont want it to be missed.

With the combat rebalancing beginning, we need to have a correspondant in place imediately and I think Garvin is best for the job, without a doubt. Sure, there are plenty that are great supporters of the profession but Garvin is always there 100% so Garvin, Im sure you probably will see this as it has your name in the title, if you would take it you have plenty of support.

My prayers go out to LordS and his fiance, really they do, and I dont want it to sound wrong but we need to carry on business as usual, so to speak, and we do LordS no honor letting what he helped fight for fade away.

Garvin..I seem to remember some sayings from TH about corr posts.....send him a mail/PM/something applying for the position. I think that would be wise.

All I know..Is that for the best of commando, you or maddogs should be the "stepping up corr" in LordS absense...I know no other commandos that will fit in his shoes. And with the commando luck..If you don't apply ASAP..we would get Tal-N or that CM who "played" commando and found us to be so uber he/she have to stalk commando posts to kick us in the groin with his/her "so wrong its not even of this universe" facts.

There is a need to fill it immediately look when our last corrspd resigned and Lords was getting all straightened out with assuming the role of our corrspd...our top 5 were never updated and virtually ignored ("comining soon due to tranisition of new corrspd")

And im all for Garvin for doing this

Absolutely no offence to Maddogs whatsoever, he's, well, like a mad dog about the profession, but I think we need our aims to be communicated clearly and precicely, and English not being a first language might hinder that slightly. I think that until LordS returns, the more staunch Commando supporters, such as Maddogs, Kyeran/Raptor, Xenothaulus, Myself () should offer whatever assistance Garvin needs as correspondent. Which wouldn't necessarily be much different from what we all normally do

I wouldn't be adverse to garvin filling in myself... particularly during such a crucial moment.
