Would cancel if they remove Feign Death from PVP?

I personally would really consider cancelling if they did remove it. It's basically one of the few valid moves left in Smuggler to use in PVP.

The only people who don't want it for PVP are the whiners.

I wouldn't. I don't participate in PVP often so it barely affects me. I can understand why it would upset some though.

What do you mean, remove it? It was never placed there for PvP in the first place.

Opinions vary on this issue. All Devs, except Taurin (sp?), who deals with exploits, say it can be used in PvP, but Taurin thinks otherwise.

In my opinion, it should be able to be used in PvP, especially when, and if, player bounties are implemented. It should make you un-target-able, like a corpse, but with a % of failure that descreases up the DF Tree and Master.

I don't know about PvP, but it doesn't serve its purpose in PvE right now (its purpose is escaping, according to its description ingame if I remember correctly).

I don't know about PvP, but it doesn't serve its purpose in PvE right now (its purpose is escaping, according to its description ingame if I remember correctly).

I'd generally agree with you there, and there was also mention of that at Fan Fest. Someone (I can't remember who) had mentioned the re-aggro distance being way too high, and that they would "look into it."

At this rate though, "looking into it" looks like a 2006 quick fix.

I wouldn't. It was apparently never meant for PvP.

However I wouldn't mind it being redone to have a better PvP funcionality that is fair both to us and our opponents. There have been several suggestions on how to do exactly that.

Like the others said, its not really meant for pvp. Try it and you will be wounded/burned to death anyway. You dont wanna lay there and let all your bars blacken eh?

Really only time I've used it was in PvE and that was back in the old days (Julyish).

hm not canceling, there would be alot worse things theycould mess up than feign death, if they remove hotpants though im out. Seriously Feignining Death daily in the Imp weapons research facility just to Piss off those L.O.D sod's is one of my fav things to do in this game. Feign death should be a valid PvP and PvE skill.

And BTW Veela whatever your selling il take a Quick fix, maybe itl take my mind off the poseponed smuggler revamp, combat balance (wheeeeeee 10 more months of riflemen, combat medics and fencers)

did you MEAN to type PVP?

cause it is useless to use FD in pvp... is the faction hit really that important to you?

I wouldn't quit if they removed it from PvP. I'd be angry that we got gimped more because of this, but I wouldn't quit. PvP has never been one of my strong points, even at Triple master, but I wouldn't quit. I care about ONE thing.... credits. As long as this galactic war is going on, I can make creds... to hell with the causes, gimme the cash.
