I'm a Master PikeMan/Grenadeer (3/0/4/0 Commando)

I was Killing Nightsisters on Dath:

ZERO exp for killing a Nightsister Ranger with my flame thrower. (I got 1 combat exp point)

5k+ Exp for killing the same nightsister with my Lance.

This is 100% repeatable.

this might be because the nightsister had a 100% defence on fire or just a big old glitch or you mave maxed out exp

same thing happened to me when i was killing rancors, 1 combat xp

happened to me as well with enraged rancors.

Hmm thats pretty bad some one should ask of Correspondit about this that not good when you should be getting 5k xp and instead you just get 1 for your hard work.

Most of the NS's have 100% immune to Heat, so with a flammer you do no dmg... but i ahve had the same thing happen to me wiht my LP or at a max of 1750 HW exp after killing a NS with a pet tank... and the pet's dmg was 100-110... and the NS was immune to Kentic... who knows... maybe jsut anther bug... Oh no say it aint so in SWG!

do an /examine on the nightsister or rancor before you fight them. if it says it has 100% special protection against heat, then you will get no xp while using your flamethrower. there are plenty of nightsister that are 100% vs. heat. and i think all rancors fall under this category as well.

Most nightsisters are only vuln to kinetic and blast. Well not vulnerable, but the least protection.

I don't know. I went hunting NSs the other day too and a lot of people were complaining about not getting any xp.....then all of the sudden we were, and then a few, myself included, started only getting random xp after kills. I only got like 1000 when we killed an elder. BTW, at the time I was using my T21.

This sort of bug is happening all over with all kinds of mobs atm - its purelty a graphical bug in many cases and you may find after a disconnect/connect you have all the xp credited that you think you should have earned.

I have had the bug with mobs ranging from the low end to the high end ever since patchday

you dont get exp for the flame DOT, im not sure if its like this for other DOTs. i figured this bug out a few days after the patch and its really stupid, needs to be fixed immeadiately, ive lost over 500k exp (so far) because of this bug

Hm, I was getting an odd +1 combat experience while fighting random mobs yesterday. Nothing big or special, none 100% heat resistant. Just random stuff on Tatooine. But I got at least three +1's during a fight, while nothing else was being killed (no DOTs on anything but what I was fighting). Quite odd.
