Never Dropped a single Commando Skill yet...first elite skill I got (novice)
How old are all of you?

i haven't been a master commando long, just about 2 months or so, maybe less... but that's not because i tried other professions then decided to become a commando on a whim, it just took me a long time to grind things back when i was a noob... i've had my commando character for about a year now, and i started him after hearing about "rebublic commando", and decided to make my own rebublic commando... well, i got to around brawler 2000, marksman 3343 when i decided that i didn't want to be a commando, and went for ranger/rifleman... when i got around rifleman 1111 and ranger 2330 i decided to pick up BH and try it out, after using the LLC for about a day i realized just how awsomely cool heavy weapons were, so i decided to give up rifleman and ranger (rifleman i was happy to give up, i still miss ranger though)for MC/Master pistol... then they changed the BH requirements, and i was able to make my dream of a MC/BH happen, and so i did... and after getting pwned over and over, i gave up BH and picked up fencer, and i'm likin' them uber defenses... my guildies always rip on me about how crappy commando is (i'm the only master commando in my guild), but i swear i'll never give up a commando box, ever...

I was an early adopter of Commando a long time ago - back when we were utterly useless, which was before we became almost utterly useless again 
Since then I have been Master Combat Medic, Master Doc, Master BE, Master CH, Master CM, TKM, Master Pistoleer, Master Carbineer, and a brief time as Bounty Hunter (never mastered). Now Im Master Commando. Again. This time at least FT doesnt suck at all as far as damage does, and Im enjoying myself, at least in pvm.
Edit: Im not a hologrinder either, I just wanted to check out a few of the different professions. Commando still beats the crap out of everything in normal/non-ubermob pvm I think. Also, I turned 29 on 8/12.

Been master commando for 12 months, I'm too stubborn to drop my commando skills.

Not long at all…does "I've been meaning to try commando for about 6 months now" count for anything?

It counts, IMO. We Commandos have such a bad reputation (as in pitiful) from seasoned players that people say, "Why the h*ll do you want Commando?"
Usually, the glassy eyed new people are thoroughly impressed by the big damage from the Flamethrower and HAR, and want to be a Commando. Heck, I wanted to be one when I started. But that was in the day of the big Commando DOTs.
Since you've been around a while, much longer than me, and you wanting to be a Commando still, means something.

I mastered commando after a few weeks of nonstop playing almost 11 months ago.i will leave the game before i leave the profession. certainly not because of what it is, but because of what it could be if they ever fix it. i stacked it with master TK a few months ago so give me a bit more of a fighting chance, and its helped alot.
im 25, married, and the more weve been nerfed, the less of a devout player ive become. go figure.

I'm curious about JTL, but there are things about it that upsets my stomach. Like I said in the GCW Forum:
At least I still have the X-Wing Collector Series and X-Wing:Alliance games next to me. I'll post some screenies from my modified X-Wing:Alliance someday... if I can find a place to put my images in

Also by "How Old you are" I ment by how old your commando was, as a final question to end the topic....hehe....
