I need a difinative answer.
Do commando DoTs from flamethrower specials get added to the calculation the game uses to determine loot rights?
IE: Could the dots from commando clame single 1 & 2, and flame cone 1&2 assuming these dots outdamage a rifleman say for example count as damage to the mob for the purpose of determining whether the commando 'outdamages' the rifleman and gets permission on the mob for loot rights.
By diffinative i need facts or threads in dev trackers, id rahter not have opinions. Any one posting a reference would be a great help.
Thank you for your time.

I dont know specifically of reference, but its a general known fact that the DoTs don't get added to Looting rights - and one of the biggest complaints of commando, as for a long time our DoT was the biggest incentive to be a commando...yet in fact took away XP, and dissallowed looting rights.

Here's an example...
I'm solo, but two riflemen with T21s are together, and we're all attacking the same krayt. When the krayt dies, I'd say at least 65% of its health bar is black from fire, but the riflemen got the loot rights.

You asked for a "Knowledgeable Veteran Commando" I seem to remember Skeptic being a "Knowledgeable Veteran Commando". He answered, there ya go.

LOL, yeah. It would seem this fellow is not satified with the answers' he is getting from the people he specifically asked it from. There is nothing that is "straight from the Dev's mouth....or even TH's" that is reliable. Case in point "Commando is working as intended" pfffft!

The phrase not sure is why id like to get a response from someone who can see the code. Its either there or it isnt. Its very simple to see that and commensurately more difficult to test it.
Im seeking a diffinative answer, plain and simple.
You'll never get an answer to satisfy you if that your criteria, SWG is constantly changing. Something that worked a certain day may not work that way another. You'll never get a developer to look at the code to give you an answer.( I'ld hate to see what the code here looks like).
You can read all sorts of threads where people are trying to figure out who gets the loot right and who don't. Best answer is to listen to theCommando Vets they have a working knowledge of the situation. All I can tell you is I never get the loot rights,. if I'm solo.
