Thread: Not exactly what I was hoping for from the publish

Misc
* Player event actors will not speak their programmed text. This interim fix is due to abuse of the system and the event actor will be removed entirely in an upcoming change for this publish cycle.
* Players will no longer have to kill NPC's twice when they die with a Flamethrower DoT on them
* Resource containers for sale on vendors or on commodities terminals will retain the name of the resource and the quantity from their description.
* Lairs HAM bars will now show properly

Boy at the rate they are fixing us, we might just see an improvement by x-mas
Still I'll admit that I'm very glad to see the above fixed, I was just hoping to see more than this. We might think wegot theshaft, but when I see what they are doing to the other proffesions such as entertainer, I don't dare complain.

I wonder if the AOE fix went through, it is sadly missing from the notes

No aoe fix in live with my current weaps.

It all depends on how you look at it...
I never got my stuff working on TC, Blixtev got it working suppousedly internally and got QA testers to get it working. Teshma was the only commando I believe that got a few Heavy Weapons working, and a few others found their PFT's working.
There is no update on this whatsoever, and It struck me odd when Blixtev said he was working on the AoE and that it was fixed, but it never graced the update notes. This is our #2 (was originally our #1) issue, and currently the BIGGEST segment of commando broken...and there isn't anything in the update notes.
Ill try and see if I can get any information, for now check new Flamers to see if they're working...if not then I guess Blixtev mustave gone back to the drawing board...
If anyone on Valcyn wants a quick and free (plus good!) flamer to test with, let me know.

Well heres my news my AOE does work... yes thats right im not getting 0's and 1's
HOWEVER
When i first logged on and equiped each weapon i was doing with the PFT about 512 AOE damage on top of the obvious 1000+ main attack... and with the LBC i was doing the same damage AOE of 900+ that i was doing to the main target.
The rocket launcher seems to have had AOE totally removed from it, i mean totally not even 0's and 1's.
Then i changed weapons.... then back to my PFT and LBC i found that my AOE has suddenly gone totally wrong... the AOE damage is now the weapons elemental damage +1... so my PFT's do either 89 or 127 AOE as they have 88 or 126 elemental damage. The LBC does 201 AOE as its elemental damage is 200... all in all the LBC now ownz the PFT as it has better range, better AOE and its DPS is practically the same.
So all in all... its still bugged.
Im on the Starsider if that makes a difference, since others weapons still seemtotally broken... though i guess in most ways it still is broken.

And was this shortly after the server came back up? Im posting your feedback to the Devs. They got the wrong commando correspondent mad this morning with a HUGE-assed crafting bug as well as the AoE...

Thats my only LBC and my best PFT (highest damage that is), i have two other PFT's giving the same effect of doing AOE that is the elemental damage +1
[ Edit: Just on a side note the AOE or whats left of it seems to be effected by armour as when tested on some rebel guards it seemed to do slightly less with the LBC as i was getting about 182 AOE as opposed to the 201 that i was getting on the lv 2 creatures around Mos Eisley]

Ok, Legacy weapons are pre-patch weapons heh. Updated the dev's bug thread on this.
