Thread: Master Commando, Master Smuggler and ???

I want to do the MCommando/MSuggler thing, but I'm wondering what I should use the remaining 52 skill points on. Here are the options I'm thinking:

MCommando/MSuggler... 4000 CM (for the heals)

MCommando/MSuggler... 4000 BH (improved duelist stance)

MCommando/MSuggler... 1030 BH (duelist stance & a KD)

MCommando/MSuggler... 4000 Rifles/0030 Pistols (nuke & intimidate)

MCommando/MSuggler... 4000 Rifles/0003 Pistols (nuke & root)

MCommando/MSuggler... 0030 Carbs/0020 Medic (KD & minor healing)

Anyone have experience with any of these? thanks for feedback!

Personally, this will be my template for the time being. Just because I can't seem to find loot sources for the FCT's



Master Commando / Master Smuggler / Bounty Hunter 2010 (for the ranged knockdown and better bosses,) although perhaps the novice BH marks have a better rate for those tools in particular.



If I weren't doing BH, I would take 0040 Carbineer and the Root from Pistoleer.

Account cancelled again. Fix this flippin game. GCW, Smugglers, Player economy, enjoyable content and all bugs over 3 months old must be repaired before this game is worth the subscription. Get it, got it, done.

As for the argument of "The Jedi are bored, give them content and they'll go away." I actually do agree with you. However, there are two major problems to this argument. First, it would take a lot more coding time than just disabling the Old Man on one server. Second, all that time that would be devoted to a SINGLE PROFESSION is not being devoted to fixing bugs, adding general content, or making new expansions for the rest of the game population. So this is a classic problem of the needs of a few over the needs of the many. I can name seven professions that serve little to no purpose right now. You want more work done on one that's already absorbed an estimated 75% of the coding time for the past year. In my opinion, it's time to get the Jedi off the nipple and give the general population their turn.

Well, dancer is nice because you don't have to be paying attention to tell what they are doing, but I like music better, so I'd have to say Musician

I like the rifle pistol combination you came up with. I went Master Commando Master Smuggler 0444 pistols because I was a MBH Mpistoleer prior and have way too much money invested in pistol mods to totally drop to a single line. Maybe I should though. The 4000 Rifles 0003 Pistols is a wicked combination. With my template I have no KD and no significant damage modifier attack. You could root someone, sniper with a proton rifle, something else, then do concussion or panic, then sniper, then laugh. If they get close you can flame on. Very nice.

all neat looking combos, got me thinking about dropping master cm





i was at a party the other day and saw a guy in a leather jacket and thought " thats cool". a few minutes later i saw another guy with a leather vest on and thought "thats not really cool at all". then i realised, cool is all about leather sleeves.

i own leather sleeves.

I've been a Master Smuggler/Master Commando/TKA 4000/Pistoleer 1001 since the CU, and it's a pretty good template (even if I am changing because I'm getting tired of being Commando for two years). With Pistoleer, you'll get Stopping Shot, which comes in handy. And with 4000 TKA, you'll be able to give yourself a small health buff and heal your wounds while meditating.

I'd do M Smuggler M Commando Rifles 4xx4. Rifles xxx4 for the added rifle speed and advanced aim in xxx3 whichis a 200+ pnt accuracy boost.


So KD with the rocket launcher(weapon has innate KD)using imp concussion shot, that is a KD mezz done at once.(BTW that works with imp panic shot too)Then switch to yourrifle from the toolbar,drink some deuterium pyro, drop down, advanced aim toimp sniper shot. Boo yah! It's fun.

I was just considering something along these very lines this afternoon. Didn't know exactly how to go about it, but I liked the idea of using Commando weaps. with Smuggler crowd control and then popping damage at range withhigher powered weapons. Thanks for the suggestions as to which RM trees to go up.



Also vaguely goes with myJayne Cobb type mercenary persona I'm trying to develop.

Rocket Launcher - CL22/Incendiary Weapons I
Damage Type: Kinetic
Elemental: Heat
Innate Ability: Knockdown
Range: 0-64 m
Description: The most iconic weapon of Commando, no advanced versions unfortunately so it is seldom used anymore. It is non-AoE, hence also ideal for grinding.

So, you do have a KD, but you might have to switch weapons to do it... sucks, but not a total loss

Are you saying to use headshot with a proton grenade?



I see grenades have a sac, but I didn't think you could use a special attack with them.
