I like this idea but I am not sure thata Squad Leader should be operating such a heavy weapon. I do however think that more player cooperation is required in the game and two people should be required to usean E-web at all times.

Ithink this should be a weapon granted at Master Commando and must be used by 2 Master Commandos at all times. It should be kept in the datapad and be a stationary weapon (as Garvin suggested). At present I am the onlly Master Commando in my guild, I think that, with the current weapons we have, a group of commandos would be very effective and this would encourage more Commandos to work together.

I agree with everything else that you have suggested and obvioulsy there would be some additional bonuses when a Squad leader heads the group. My only concern is what would the roles of the two operators be ? I would not like to stand behind the gun and flourish like a danceras someone suggested earlier. I would like to be able to take on either of the two roles on the weapon and be fully involved in the battle - I don't know how this would be achieved though.

I think the weapon would need some sort of shield (maybe on the front only) so that we are not a sitting target for riflemen.

Imagine a line of 5E-webs under the control of a crack team of Commandos.

A tank would be good too !!
