Commando Acid Line(Virtually useless when the profession is actualy working) replaced with Covert/Black Ops line Using Stealth Stealth Pistol Stealth Carbines. Something like a walking version of cover but have to use stealth weapons and have to kill in a certain amount of time or alarm is raised. In GCW highly useful in regular PvP less useful but so is Rifleman's Cover line. For neutral players and GCW player Stealth weapons while not in Stealth mode have decreased range but equal damage to carbines/pistols of comprable level. Have soem deffense mods so non GCWers use it. Beam Weapons line replaced with Heavy Machine Gun line. Ever wanted to hose down that crowd of Jedi sixty four meters away with a barage of hot lead/plasma burst? Well heres the answer heavy weapons supression Powerful as a Rifle faster than a pistol and as accurate as a blind folded monkey.(for balance) The gun would have massive AOE 150 degree affect. Would cause movement reduction due to being pinned down by incomming fire. For blance high SAC low accuracy and of course the AOE only. Grenade restructure with more powerful grenades and demolitian packs. Demo Packs would be used against vehicles turrets and for neutral people would be used as mines for hunting large MOBs. Demolition packs create AOE kill zone around target that takes 1k-3k damage depending on pack level and KDs. PutIncrease Damage Specials backin game along with special ability for Flamethrower to only hit one target and forStealth weapons to his multiple targets. Also add special insertion abilites to the Stealth line which would incourage GCW use. Insertion specials would be availble to Commando only and would drop them onto a target such as a baseor POI.
Obviously needs some work for balance with non-GCW but still would make Commando more like real life while keeping the ability to immolate whoever and whatever we want we we want.
I have no problem with a weapon called plasma flamethrower (Mostly because the thought of spraying someone with burning plasma sounds most fun) I agree with the idea of a reloadable grenade laucher able to be armed with varius types of grenades.
Also I think it would be good if commandos would set of and either remotly set off mines or set them much like the current mine fields but without them being seen of course.
I also think it would be a good change for the rocket laucher to be changed to a reloadalble weapon (and use the firing animation) which we could reload with different types of rockets of which we would get the cert for threw the explosives line.
Also the unifacation of the cammado weapons under one category would be nice as well as heavy weapon power ups
The ambush abiliy stated in a earlier post sounds like a nice touch as well posibly a good reward for reaching master commado ![]()
As for this I am a relitivly new to commado but enjoy it very much and would like to see it become the scourge of the battle field profession it should be
Convert the rocket launcher to use seperate rocket packs. Like the way missile launchers work in JTL.
That means we could use different types of ammo/rocket packs to suit our utility needs.
Example:
1 ammo pack thats specific damage to buidlings of structures.
1 ammo pack thats good for single target use.
1 ammo pack that provides crowd control (AoE) damages multiple targets.
1 ammo pack that can provide cover, ie., produces large smoke cover to reduce visibity over a large radius (like the fog around the force village on dath).
etc.
