I dont really want to "steal" anything from another profession becuase, at the moment,i think that every other profession than commando should keep it's weapons, but i would like to see a new weapon in our arsenal. I would really like us to get a new permanent rifle that launcheslots ofmicro missiles andis faster but weaker than the FT. Thenit could have specials that can knockdown an opponent (obviously because it shoots rockets,I still don't know why the launcher pistol doesn't have any knockdown attacks) and maybe a special like full auto single. i think that would be really awesome!

I think having an armor type ability would be great! I think it should be like synsteak thought so it gives like an additional 10-40% defense from all attacks (except not lightsaber because then jedi would whine about the ability, no offense to jedi because i very much think that sometimes they do have good reasons to whine) for like 25 attacks. So that people dont say it's a force armor type ability maybe we should have to go to an image designer after receiving a part from a weaponsmith and have themequip it on us or something, like how they put it holo-motes,so we only have so many uses of it at a time, also a weaponsmith could have the ability aswell (also you could just equip it, but it should only be a commando ability) I thought image designers should have the ability cause i dont think image designers get payed much as is and that maybe if they made you pay 1-5k they could make some money plus we can make that money in like 5 mins on dantooine.

Well, I'm fairly happy with our weapons. I just think that they need some tweeking. Flamethrower is pretty much fine, a tad more accuracy would be great. The Launcher Pistol should have a skill tree, or within another skill tree. We have the gun now we should learn to use it better! As for the R launcher and the beams.... Great idea gone horribly wrong lol
. Either make it easier to make, or so that it never runs out. I have never seen one to buy, or even seen somebody use one therefore I don't have much to say about them. But the Heavy Acid Rifle. There is a simple solution to it. As it is right now, it SUCKS. The flamethrower is better then it in almost everyway. If you were to add some armor piercing then it might be somewhat usefull. As for skills from other profs... I would like to see both melee and ranged mitigation. We have lot defence in both so it would make sence for us to have both, especially since we use ranged weapons that are right up close. All the weapons accuracy are made for close combat. So it makes no sence that we can't take a hit. And, throw in a couple melee weapons then we would be good. Something like a swiss army knife or something lol. Or a machetti. Thanks for listening.

Commandos should be the heaviest ranged damage dealers withAP3. They typical pack heavy hitting weapons at close range.
Suggestion:
New weapon: variation of DXR6b type assault rifle, except AP3 and BIGGER [remove useless AP0 Heavy Acid Rifle]
Special add: - +AREAKDshot, +fire DoT (like Torso shot), Stun and dizzy (from carbineer/BH).
Commandos are skilled at fast "hit and run" tactics. They should be able to move in fast on an enemy and deal heavy dmg to an area then retreat and letregular forces do the clean up work.
I would love to see a Heavy Repeater (machine-gun) type rifle like the imperials used but that would mean a new weapon design.
Commandos pack BIG GUNS!

As I understand it our role in this game is to take down the big stuff (usually npc faction stuff but any tough mob).I would be happy with our HAR weapons changed to medium armor piercing or higher. I don't mind the low accuracy, against large mobs standing still we can hit. I like the idea of adding a carbine and rifle (with a few specials and mods) with light or medium armor piercing. This way we can either pick pistoleer, carbineer, or rifleman to make different kinds of commandos.

I would steal the LLC as well, since we are the heavy weapon specialist. Heck, why not steal all the ranged weapon certs. It won't mean that we would use them well, just mean that we know how to use many weapons.
And steal the range & accuracy of the CM's throwing capability, and steal the bomb droids ability not to hurt the user.
and while we are at it, allow Imp Commandos to steal Storm Commando armor, and likewise Rebel for the rebel Commandos.

I like the idea of a good AP repeating carbine with a multiple knock down shot.
It would make commando usefull in a large scale battle.
