Works, but is very slow. If you dont have a lot of LS, Healer or Defender you cannot solo using just jedi skills, so you need to bring down their health using your other combat prof first, which will cut into your jedi xp payout. As a ballpark figure, a lvl 74 with Novice LS / Novice Healer / Rifleman 3444 / Master Doc can solo half of the health of a lvl 74 critter, using a 1200 power instant stim. Force will be drained by about 2/3 after the fight. Gained xp ranges from 400 to 900 per kill, depending on how hard he hits with the rifle up front. Doc skills shouldnt be used at all during the fight as they are a jedi xp killer.
Youre better off getting one or two rifleman friends who can solo lvl 80 stuff - group up with them, make sure they stay away from you all times, hit your target one time and have them nuke it afterwards. The instant they hit you lose aggro.
Or you can just join random groups and gamble on being able to make more xp than you lose to BHs - some win, some lose this gamble.

whats up fellas. I am wondering if there is a way to solo grind effiecently. I was a finished templete and decided to regrind. As it stands now, I am Master Defender, 3000 LS, 2002 ehhancer, 3003 powers and 3000 healer. i am going for MP/MD, 3000 healer and 0002 enhnacer. It seems that the only way I am makeing good xp is in a good AOE group, which are hard to find. Also, with master powers, whattrees should I train in first.

solo grinding will take you a lot longer, best is to stick with aoe groups but if you cant find them regular groups are still going to be faster than solo. Do you have somethign against a lightsaber?

I ground out all but the last 2 mil of my template solo and I'd agree that it will be MUCH slower. Even at MLS and nearly full template I was lucky to get 60k per hour with the dedicated solo grind.
If you do decide to grind solo, Dathomir would appear to be a good place, so long as you can avoid the NS/SMC types. There is more on Dathomir that is near CL 80 than most other places aside from possibly the Shadowlands.
