Untrue in a way. Commando's advantage is that, our specials, hit everything. You want to KD a crowd for a group? KD them all at once instead of individually. We are an upgrade to others. We rely on them, but we empower them.

I love the combination of smuggler or pistoleer with commando for the crowd control, lovely sight to see 6 targets rooted all at once.

Despite the poor damage, KD/rooting a running Jedi is fun as hell. Even though the Rocket Launcher is garbage for damage, it's 64 meter range and KD ability is money coupled with Concussion Shot.
