Thread: Sandbox Announcement: And 5 Will Light The Way...
- LordSeckmoth (our old Correspondent who is still VERY VERY involved)
- Hellshot (he is the person that helps me run most of my Commando tests on TC)
- Razorwolf (recently developed a very intrique DPS spreadsheet...that knowledge will come in very handy for comparision in the new Combat System and make for some good reports back).
After reading though all the submissions as well as reviewing various posts in our forum I've decided to select:
- Starnick...He has always been a huge part of our Community and a huge Commando Supporter...I know if I ever stepped down, he'd be one of the people I'd suggest to take my place...
- Daker...I selected Daker for slightly different reasons then some of the others. He has been with us for a very long time and has often found himself in disagreement with many of us...His "different" view points will help us to make sure we are all better represented...During this testing I want differing opinions to help us really chew up the Combat Revamp until we really get to the meat and bones of what is good and what is bad...
So if these 2 accept my selection we have our 5...if not I'll select again...and I do havea list of names of alternates if we get to take more to the Sandbox or if anyone steps out (yes Skeptic you are one of those folks)...
As for details about the Sandbox...From the sound of it, it could go in in a few weeks or it could go in around the JTL launch...not sure...but it will be intense...I will need all of my picks to stick by me and help me test certain aspects, especially certain specific combat templates (and I've already seen some really cool Commando templates that will blow your mind when the revamp hits)...
Not sure on what our communication level will be outside the Sandbox, but before then these folks may get access to additional information that they may or may not be allowed to share right away (because things are often in flux, and the devs want to make sure that more then "pieces" are shared)...when they are allowed to share I want them to make full reports here and be completely honest with their opinions...They will also need to be very forthcoming to the devs on any bugs, issues or suggested improvements they come up with...
Anyway...that's about all I can think of currently...I'll try and report more later...I'm actually heading out in 10 minutes to meet up with the Devs a bit more...And yes...I do have a few picture I might be willing to share with you folks when I get home and post them...in the mean time, check out the GCW forum and see one photo already posted (stickied at the top...JEST3R demo'ing the new Revamp Armor)

We're gonna have to find a new mottos and slogans once the Revamp is done... boy oh boy does it look good, er I mean sound like it's gonna look good. I know nothing, I see nothing!
